Northwestern Pennsylvania
Good Morning, niaw. 26F this morning, going up to 33. Barometer reads 29.57 and falling. Winds out of the north at 7, with a few nuisance flurries.
I didn't venture far from home yesterday because of the snow. There's probably a little over a foot on the ground at the moment. I read that Erie is about to go over the 200 inch mark for the season. Yikes!
Bluwahoo - Hmmm. Replace the sugar white sand with snow, the sun with a permanent layer of clouds, the dune grass with a pine tree, and the Gulf with a frozen lake, and we would have identical photos. Great pic!

Mid 50s heading up to mid 70s. With a stiff breeze out of the south which means a lot of mt cedar blowing in from the hill country down by Austin. Time for an allergy pill.

It's 40° and cloudy near Williamsport, PA this afternoon. BTW - Happy Ides of March everyone! Today is my annual shave after a long Winter of keeping my face warm, so I'm hoping it warms up soon.
rover11 - we could definitely handle 70s and/or 80s around here! We had a short-lived whiteout yesterday afternoon, but nothing really amounted to any snow on the ground.
waubeek - we had some pretty stiff winds around here last night. Had to retrieve my grill's cover from over by the highway this morning - despite the bungee cord around the bottom, the wind still blew it off the grill.
OlRoy - I read "-6°" in your comment and thought - wow, that's cold. Then I realized that's centigrade and it was 21° in our temperature which has been the average around here for a few weeks now.
cocopaz - sorry, but my SB cousin and I don't converse very frequently. We were out there in 2004 and that was the first and last time I've been there. I will keep you in mind should we make it out there again. I agree with you on location not appearing in a member's posts. I did notice that sub-groups are being formed to match up with GB's old format, so since I started this in the Pennsylvania forum, that's where this is going to be moved to some time in the near future. I hope to see all the non-PAers stop by once we do move.
laceylady - we spent the night near Elkhart once and were driving west on I-80 and saw the RV Hall of Fame, so we stopped. Plan on stopping there again some time, especially if we visit Nappannee for a service visit.
bluwahoo - did I mention that two years ago we drove through Florala on our way back north? That's about as close as you can get to the Florida/Alabama border.
drdenny - we had your snow last night I guess. Did a walk around this morning in the process of picking up my grill cover and discovered I really have my work cut out for me picking up broken branches from our Heritage Birch tree - wadda mess!
joelimo - 60s? I can handle that too!
loranda - you have a foot of snow up there?? Is some or most of that lake effect, or is that done for the season? I agree with you on your comment to Bluwahoo.
eggman - and where did you say that mud was?
BGJam - I'll bet you can't wait to get out on that boat!
hen23 - and where are you posting from (city)? I could handle some steadt 50s right now.
