It's 29° and sunny in the backyard this morning. We had about ½" of snow early this morning that covered everything, including hard surfaces like streets and driveways. Any ideas when this is going to stop??

laceylady - I'll have to remember that when I hear cricket chirps. Usually can't hear them over the highway noise next door thoughl I'll keep it handy for when we're camping somewhere.
sneakers - sounds like Winter isn't letting go in your area either. Yu should be warming up before us in PA, so please send it east when it finally arrives.

Got up to snow this morning. It’s sunny now, but still cold. Sunday and Monday goi g to be around 50, but the forecast is 3-5” if snow on Tuesday and another 3-5” Tuesday night, and more on Wednesday. I’m gonna kill that stupid groundhog. I gotta go buy more gas for the blower. Grrrrrrrrrr

Happy St Paddy’s!! It’s 28 and clear in Chambersburg, PA, with 53% humidity and a dew point of 13. Snow is in the forecast today, but not much. Tuesday is the first day of spring and we have snow in the forecast. If we get the worst model’s amounts, it could be 6+ inches. I’m SO ready for this to be over. Guess I’ll take the gas can out and fill it up so I can fill up the blower. Sheesh.
Wain, I’ve got a lot of critters in my yard, but yesterday I had a mourning dove on my windowsill. His/her mate was 10 feet away in my dogwood. At least I have one sign of spring. My houseguests are going home to snow tomorrow. They live in OH.

Morning, niaw. What a beautiful morning. A bit chilly, but with lots of blue in the sky and no wind, it looks like a real keeper. I went for a short walk around the immediate neighborhood just around sunrise, and the glitter of rising sun on snow made a perfect beginning for St. Patrick's Day.
