To Laceylady and anyone else who thinks I'm computer savvy : I am not, just enthusiastic. I even managed to put this forum in the wrong spot. It's in Sub Boards when it should have been in Subjects. Don't know how I did that. It's a gift...

lacylady & someone else (I think), When you put your message in that aqua color I can hardly read it Perhaps no one else has that problem. I know I'm due to go to the eye DR soon, but I have no trouble with the black. Is it possible to go one shade darker? Please & Thank You

TJ has brought back chicken marsala and had it in the "cafe" last night. Pretty good but VERY mild. I like Indian food spicy. I've known chicken marsala to be italian. It's made with marsala wine. So it's not expected to be Indian or spicy.

I have a TJ's closer than any other mkt but that is not why l shop there. I love the flyers they send out and l make the list they provide to mark new things l want to try. They have a theme imo, each month. Some months l don't like the flavor of the month. LOL LOL got people confused, so l am changing, changed as a matter of fact , my name back to try Tru: thanks for letting us know your "old" name. M ight as well use old name as so many gb;s outted me. Blew my cover so to speak. LOL also got confusing to some.
So linguini and clams frozen is good? I spend tons on canned clams. But what will l do with all the linguini stacked in my closet? LOL.. Well guess l could break it up into my soups.

Coco, You wanted to know what we didn't like about Trader Joe's. I don't like the fact that it's so far away & everyone else get to go there. The nearest one to me is about an hour away.

I obviously had Indian food on the brain, as we eat Indian food about once a week.

Many of the lighter shades (not just shades of blue) are very hard to read. COLOR is great, but darker is definitely better!

Chicken masala is an Indian dish, which uses Masala (spices, or spice blend), hence the name.

Was just on another forum with rjgimp, I think, where I read "Sumatra Coffee Brownies" in relation to a comment I made about Trader Joe's. I thought the poster was kidding, but no, they exist and are goooood.

While at TJ yesterday, I bought 2 things that are new to me, suggested by 2 posters here: 1. Sumatra Coffee Brownies
2. Frozen Linguini with Clam Sauce
Thanks for the suggestions. That's what we're here for. That, and my erudite comments...(not for my gorgeous pics)

What I wrote in response to the poll on "How long have you been a GB member":
Almost 6 years and I've really enjoyed the social (forums) side of it. I've met some nice people, some of whom I've met in person, over the phone and by personal email. So what is my motivation for having no social contact and just posting prices, as an unpaid, faceless peon ? Is this a charitable organization? Well??

I love Trader Joe's and shop there at least 1 x per week. The closest location to me unfortunately, is in front of a large mall/restaurant area, so I frequently shop at off peak hours.
I have SO many items I like that it is difficult to pin down. For any day of the week usage, QUINOA DUO (frozen quinoa w/bits of butternut squash and zucchini) is a favorite, as it is microwaveable, and a quick nutritious side to a meal. My other fav is Fresh Alaskan salmon, (a bit pricey), or Alaskan Sockeye Salmon fillets. When I serve the salmon, my guests ask if it is fresh or frozen. Very nice quality! I either broil, or bake in another fav, TJ's EVO Olive oil and lemon juice.
