This is a thread for Christians to pray for all who are persecuted around the world (not just Christians). It'll be interesting to see how many prayers people offer up here and for who!
These folks can certainly use some prayer, especially since so few even know about them and their dire need for help;
Meet the most persecuted people in the world

Thanks to weaslespit for starting this thread. I would have moved the following post to this thread from one that's more narrowly focused but, because the post predates the start of this thread, the software would have ordered it above the current OP so I quoted it instead: Don't forget these folks need prayers as well!

The following quoted post from the more specific thread fits much better here:

The following quoted post and several that follow all relate to the previous quoted post and may be a great starting point for discussion here: I'm sorry but as long as Muslims are a political convenience to the Military-Industrial complex (Pentagon) as their predecessor communism once was, the persecution will not stop until a new faux scapegoat threat to formulate filling their coffers comes along. Pray the cause to these persecutions comes to an end.

Sadly, there is a lot of truth here - and too many Christians are the ones doing the persecuting based on the politics you speak of.

Muslims persecute also as do all religions. It is not the religion that is at fault but an aspect of human nature that uses religion as a tool, a means to an end no different than those who pick up an AR-15. A tool is a tool. Humans (not religion) went against God by self determining right and wrong using self justification as a motive. Until they reverse that and love neighbour as self, nothing will change.
And using a religion to claim persecution is just as self justifying as using a religion to persecute. Both are self promoting and play the us against them game that humans love to play in opposition to the us for each other God commanded. Jesus taught a way of life, not a religion that could be conveniently used as an excuse not to live that way of life.

Also: These folks are still suffering as well. Don't overlook them!

Plus: Pray for this sexual predator that he atones for his sins, and especially for his victims who he caused so much pain and anguish;
Vatican Defrocks Former Cardinal McCarrick, Finds Him Guilty Of Sex Abuse
"McCarrick, 88, resigned his post as cardinal last year after an investigation found evidence he had molested a minor altar boy almost a half-century ago. Another man told The New York Times that he was in his 20s when McCarrick abused him in the 1980s. McCarrick was a bishop in New Jersey at the time. The Times also found that two New Jersey dioceses had secretly paid settlements to two men who had accused McCarrick of abuse."

More still: Pray for those persecuted for their religion in China;
China Must End Its Campaign of Religious Persecution
"Disturbing reports have surfaced out of China of late detailing the imprisonment of Christian pastors, Bible burning, and demolishing of Christian churches. The Chinese government has rounded up more than one million Uighur and Kazakh Muslims into indoctrination camps. The state has long suppressed the freedom of Tibetan Buddhists, as well as those who practice Falun Gong.
The Chinese government has removed crosses from 1,200 to 1,700 Christian churches as of a 2016 New York Times report, and has instructed police officers to stop citizens from entering their places of worship. There have been violent confrontations between government authorities and worshipers, and communist leaders have implemented restrictions prohibiting children 18 years old and younger from participating in religiously-focused education."
