Jeeze, Topper, we hit -16 for the high that day! Sure could use somma that warmth out this way. Well, geezer, there're some nice golf courses down there. I hope yer plannin' ta bring yer clubs.
These winter cold snaps are good for bragging rights, but that's about all. But, being the eternal optimist, I'm plannin' on Spring showin' up in 35 to 40 days. Then it's B O A T I N G season!

One of life's little hurdles today. The water heater crapped out. The plumbers are overdue, but they're going to fix some leaks as well as installing a new water heater. Life will be better again soon.

I see a lot of posters that used to post here when this was the title of my thread at old place, before eggman took it over here. I had to go to second choice title then of Life is Sweet. Miss seeing some of you. Just toodle ing thru the miscellaneous titles and thought l'd drop in here to see if Eggman ever came back online. Anyone ever hear from him? Miss his posts too.
EBR you signing in for the Texas home give away? I am, tho l would never live there. Would take the money , and car and sell the house.
