Get this. The 16 year-old grandson was over yesterday with three friends to use the pool. All four of them are in there when it starts raining. They immediately get out of the pool and run up on the deck and get under the awning. Afraid of getting wet, kids?!? YOU WERE IN THE POOL!!!

LOL it does seem funny Geezer but on the other hand I think there's some morning I've read somewhere long ago that a thunderstorm you could get electrocuted so maybe they were wise after all. So it's hot there huh ?well I'm doing quite well on the July temperatures haven't been too bad at all and even when it's up in the eighties which I am not too happy with and I go sit on the porch we have a nice breeze so it doesn't even feel like it the breeze kind of swirls around the buildings and comes around and comes into our little patio area. Quite nice. But I read that it's going to go up into the nine t i e s course August we'll definitely get some of that three digit stuff. What is happening with me is that I've got a flare up ,some infection and I'm on antibiotics and prednisone but I don't seem to be feeling any of that false energy I was looking forward to from the prednisone to jump into the house work that I've neglected because I've had a cough all month which finally got me to go to the doctor well at least on the phone appointment. I'm just not energetic and I'm lazy and I'm not doing much of anything even posting sad huh feel sorry for me?

No lightning, Tru. It gave me a good laugh.
It's supposed to be 95 here tomorrow, and real humid, too. The Heat Index is supposed to be over 100. Low 80's and less humidity by Wednesday, though.
Feel better. That Pregnantzone goes down well with Miracle Hooch, ya know...

That must be a miracle Hooch because most of the that I've been aware of increases possibilities of pregnancy

Ah, Miracle Hooch, crazy parades, the nuns, the weed patch, holes in the roof, Snots, whacky neighbors, Phyllis Diller, the Riff Raft....good times at the clubhouse.

Wouldn't you know my AC went out. Call the emergency number on a Sunday morning and 4 hours later a kid shows up and tells me we don't have the part we'll have to order it when we get it I'll put it in. They don't seem to so much concern or hurry. 102 today

How's life in Napa lately, Tru? I hope it's not too smoky.

Smoke so bad my son was told not to come to work in Sacramento area. But for Napa I guess it's kind of moderate just us people with the breathing issues need to stay in and it's been 10 days I've been in and I need to go to the store. I tried ordering on instacart in I get lost and go round and round and spend hours on it is such a waste of time. Plus they want $8 just to deliver.

Thanks for coming to my threads geezer good to see you. I still should come to this site every once in awhile and say hi to whoever still checks in here. I'm doing well although the smoke is getting horrendous we had two and a half days of good quality air and then this new fire started just north of me. About 30 miles north of May I would have estimate if the wind shifts we're in trouble. But so far so good the Town of Calistoga has been fully evacuated there's one other Town between there and us Saint Helena and they've had warnings to be prepared to evacuate. It's really horrible the fires that are going on in California and Oregon

Life is good, just not as good as it was four years ago.

Pandemic lifestyle goes on. So does my cough I just watched a little blurb on public Channel about when lady mentioned asthma and her cough and how she's managing it oh Lordy I hope that doesn't mean my cough can only be managed and not stopped
