I don't much care for the stuff that Panda Express...the only Chinese place near me....serves, though. Panda Express is garbage
I once cooked up some HWS myself, using a "copycat" recipe, and it was super good....just a LOT of trouble.
Yeah the chefs on TV make stir fry look so quick and easy but it really isn't. Lots of little things to do to get ready that adds up. I liked the stuff I made but there are so many easier dishes to make that are just as good or better.

Good morning everyone,
The chili last night was well received. The effort making it was rewarded by all.
Today the whole AZ group goes out of town to begin the celebration of their granddaughter's first birthday. We'll join them tomorrow for the party.
I got all of my wife's photos downloaded from Google Photo. 9 files of 2GB each. I've sorted and eliminated duplicates. Now I just have to figure out how to keep Google off of her phone.

'Morning.
Well, Kimbu and I want to start a brisket today, so we need help with how to prepare and marinate it and how to cook it and how long. Any advice shall be greatly appreciated. I just can't eat tough meat anymore, so I'm hoping to have this turn out to be "falling-apart tender" if that is possible.
I spent another night last night twisting and turning in bed, without much sleeping going on. This being older than dinosaur crap is for the BAAAD birds! I always heard the deal was something like "three score and ten," but I'm already 'way past that. Oh, well...not for me to say, but I'm ready to learn to fly when He is ready for me to do so.
Which reminds me that an often-recurrent dream during my childhood --- and, yes, I remember stuff all the way back to about two years of age --- was being able to fly, but ALWAYS being held down by power lines that kept me from going on up. Lord God, PLEASE give me my wings soon...and grant me wide-open power line clearance!
Amen!

Good morning everyone,
We bought a brisket ready for the oven. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Birthday party at One pm. The celebrant is turning One.
I made an 8 page spreadsheet out of pages of small handwritten notes my wife made about shows and movies we've either seen or want to see. We're getting ready for the Winter.

WRINC, that reminds me of the ones I want to watch again soon, such as "History of the World Part Two," "The Great Scout and Cathouse Thursday," and "Blazing Saddles."
Can't wait to hear that ol' boy screaming about his "one little pill" treatment for the clap.
LOL LOL LOL, etc.

Good morning everyone,
Don't forget my all-time favorite comedy: "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles." Two of the funniest men alive then, John Candy and Steve Martin (who played the straight guy.) That used to mean something other than it does now.

Good morning everyone,
Too bad, Docputer. This is the last remaining remnant of GasBuddy.
It's always good to talk with you, though.

I is here, Doc! I'm tired, sore, and (other than a few little things, and cleaning up, and taking the scaffolding down, and hooking up the sump pump) the house is renovated!
Got my bride up at 0705, she's gotta take Mom's senior puppy to the groomers for her monthly shaving. Some day I'm gonna get something that makes me sleep for a whole day.
I did that once, sleep for a whole day, in Paducah KY. I was tireder than I thought and parked my truck and went to bed at 1700. That truck had a nice bed, new even. (Nice, but underpowered Caterpillar powered Peterbilt.) Anyway, I woke up at what I thought was 0500. Thought I slept for a whole 12 hours. Went into the truck stop. Used the little boy's room. Wondered what the little white box was for. Quit reading some graffiti would make a seasoned anchor clanker blush. Heard a click, click, click and figgered out that the little white box was for female use only, the clicking was a female in high heals, and I was in what turned out to be the little girl's room. Got outta there in a hurry! Used the correct latrine. Went to the trucker's dining area and checked out the menu, which was the dinner menu. I looked out the window, which was on the west side of the truck stop, and there was the sun. Not rising, but setting. It was 1710 and I had slept for 24 hours. Okay, I'm rambling. Gonna get more coffee.

Ramble all you want, Baron...any time you want. I just wish more old Gas Buddies would show up and ramble.
Those were the days, My Friend...we thought they'd never end...but Gas Buddy turned to Cash Grabby and left out the fun stuff in favor of another dollar...I guess. Never really understood.
Oh, well...gotta get my bottomside to go with me to visit with my "Toediatrist" tomorrow, so I'm determined to come BACK by Great Clips for my yearly shearing. Right now I look like the Rock of Gibraltar with half of the Arctic Circle perched on top.
Y'all hang in there...and let'see if we can get DG and some others to come back.
I talked with Honey Dog the other day on FB, so I think I'll ask her to check in once in a while.

Good morning everyone,
That would be great if she came here once and a while. Others, too.
Not sure what today will bring, other than more wind.

Yesterday we officially completed our house, new siding and new windows. Now I need to clean up the garage!
(Ramble) I once had a Chinese physicist, friend of a friend (Mike), who needed his brakes fixed. So Mike asked me if I would do his brakes. I said no, but I'll show him how to do it. I gave him directions to my house. Come into Tremont on I-155, turn left on Sampson Street, drive five blocks, find the ugliest house on the block, and pull in the driveway. They drove down Sampson and turned right into my driveway and into my garage. I couldn't pronounce his name, but his brakes turned out fine. Sidebar; In a couple of weeks he had done brakes on five of his friends cars. A definite change of pace from his current occupation. He thought it was fun.

Good morning everyone,
The landscaper fixed the front yard damage left by the cement truck.
Our So MN friends came up to close their cabin. We didn't see them much. They'll be over tonight.
