WRINC, You can market your weight loss idea, but I don't think anyone will buy it.
Ed, I don't know what God's plan is for me, but I've only ask him to let me live long enough to take care of my wife. So far, so good.
Hang in there Doc! Never, never give up. (My wife was talking about the day when we end up in a nursing home, I let her know that is the reason our oldest daughter lives with us. )

Good morning everyone,
Yesterday the scale was down again, leaving me 7.5 lbs lighter. I got my first meal last night; pizza. Bad choice, I could only eat 1/2 of one piece. Too spicy, I guess. Today I'll try a sandwich.
Our colds are getting better, but we're on hold for Thanksgiving. It's being held at our AZ neighbors' relatives, and will be about 18 people in attendance.

Sure, WRINC....and be sure to use a catchy motto like "Be miserable 24-7 and lose weight FAST!"
That's sorta what I've done, too...been miserable and unable to sleep for a while, so I'm finally and firmly UNDER 250. And here I am now, up at 3 of the A and M, feeling like a blend of water buffalo crap and buzzard puke.
But, as my autobiography says: "Such is Life...and then you die..."
Fantastic, huh?

Doc, I was weighing in at 247 when I went on a diet, sort of. We had taken the wife on a day trip for her birthday without giving her any information on where we were going. First we went to Kartville and raced go-carts and drove big innertubes with motors on the water. Then we took her horse back riding. Then dinner at (?) Castle Rock State Park. We had a great time. A couple days later I showed my boss at Caterpillar some pictures we took. One was of me on a horse and he said "THAT'S YOU?!" I took a long look at the picture and decided I looked like 247 pounds in a 100 pound bag. I really didn't go on a real diet, I just cut out the treats that people brought to celebrate birthdays, weddings, promotions, new tax deductions, etc. About a year later I had lost ten pounds and felt better. I got serious and used the Weight Watcher points method to lose weight. I'm now at 170.
No brag, just facts.

Good morning everyone,
Well, we're both still sick, so we're cancelling plans to go with the AZ couple to their family Thanksgiving. We'll handle it well between the two of us.
My sickness weight loss is holding at 9lbs.

Good morning everyone,
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
Almost well. Good thing we cancelled.
I've been avoiding two chores because they involve using a ladder. I have to put the new batteries in the weather station and also to replace one of the bulbs in the front yard fixture.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TURKEY DAY TO ALL!
....and God bless us every one!
As my Wonderful Winnie always said, "Thankee, Lard!"
(She never meant to insult Him...it was just her way of pronouncing the word. She also tickled me saying "AR-bun" instead of Auburn.)
I sure miss you, Lou...Happy Thanksgiving UP THERE...
