That is sad for so many, Baron. May God give them all peace and solace.

Good morning everyone,
Still making the rounds with the neighbors. Those left have put their boats and docks in storage, so there's a bit more free time to socialize.

Good morning. Feel like a triple serving of doggie doo, but I'm alive...I think...everything hurts, so that's a good sign.
God bless us every one!

Good morning everyone,
Happy Halloween!
We don't get ANY trick-or-treaters out here. I get to keep all of the candy.

Good to hear from y'all.
We shut the porch light off so the little beggars leave us alone. WRINC, if you gonna leave your porch light on you best not dig to deep in that candy dish. Tonight is All Hallows' Eve.

We don't get any trick or treaters in our neighborhood. Not many kids and our neighborhood backs up to a park and doesn't connect to anything but the main road. On the other side of the main road in the next city they get zillions of kids.

No Trick or Treaters around here. Haven't seen one in so many years I can't remember the last.
Back when I was a kid we just "tricked" --- left "treating" to "the others."
I remember spending all night once dumping the sand from the neighbor's sandbed, moving the "bed" itself onto his front porch, and then refilling it with sand. That neighbor was a *head.
Oh, well...rough night --- 53 blood sugar in the middle of it, along with a bleeding nose. Getting old is a bee-ATCH!

Good morning everyone,
Got a new watch yesterday. The old Samsung Gear 3 got a badly cracked screen, and 2 shops said not to trust repair parts. I got a Samsung Gear 7. No instructions, just online. This might take a while to get used to.

Never did really like wearing a watch of any kind. Same with rings, actually. Haven't worn either for many years. Time is all around me, anyway, so not needed.
Oh, well...hope it's good'un for all. Head 'em up and move 'em out, Men...and women....maybe...

A kid in high school, he later became a preacher, not that means anything to this story. Anyway, he wore two watches, one on top of his wrist and one on the other side. Said that way he didn't have to turn his wrist to see what time it was. He never did know what the real time was.

Wellum, I am here and I'm not too bad this AM. Not really good, but not TOO bad.
Then again....being 90 and still thinking about...um..."the best thing in the world" almost all the time has to be a little better than sitting around slobbering on yourself and not having the slightest idea what's going on.

Good morning everyone,
I went to my first American Legion meeting last night. It was mostly going over old minutes, which didn't involve me. Meeting the other members was good, and was as much as could be expected.
Today I vote.

Today I wake up, drink coffee, pay bills, VOTE. Make that drink coffee, wake up, pay bills, then vote, I think.

I voted....two weeks ago. One advantage of being older than dino dung....they just send me a ballot and I mark it and mail it back.
One other advantage is they don't even have me on the list for jury duty. After my one and only visit to "downtown" and the Bexar County Courthouse, I decided I'd never go again, anyway, so it's a good thing.
I still think this country and the world would be better off if we went back to the time when there was a gallows located centrally and USED on some of the putrid protoplasm they have in all these fancy jails.
I'd bet pretty soon half the population will be in jail. The other half will be in politics.
Hopefully I'll be dead.
