I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S5 active. It works quite well, and the main reason that I will not "upgrade" to a later model (in fact I bought a spare on Ebay in case this one dies) is because this model has a user changeable battery. I have a charger for it and on a long trip it is handy to be able to swap out the depleted battery for a freshly charged one. Vote for the OS in the poll and list your make and model and the reasons you like (or dislike) it as a comment to this thread.

iPhone 7+, have had an iPhone since 2011... the young lad who sold me the phone used to go to same daycare as my kids. He told me I’d like it and i did. Have never tried an android. Have iPads in house.

Apple iPhone SE with 16 GB of storage.
I don't want a phone that can't be easily held in one hand.

I have a Google Pixel that I HATE. I have to keep it plugged into the charger or a battery pack continuously. Unfortunately, have to keep it until November when I can go back to my old Motorola. Still kicking myself for changing.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 might be old but the technology works well.
I LOL when I hear iPhone owners brag about the technology in their phones (ie wireless charging, etc) and look down their noses at older tech (ie Note 4 or GS3). Some of those features I have had in my Samsung phones for the last 6 YEARS+ that they just got in the last year or so in their iPhones.

LOL, that's the reason why I won't upgrade my phone as well. I'm using an LG V10 which has a replaceable battery AND an MicroSD card slot which can hold a card up to 2 TB! I also have the extra battery in the charger ready to go if the phone dies and I have a 200 GB card in it now, and sometime this year will buy the 400 GB (as the price continues to drop). So I don't have a need to upgrade (which would cause me to lose the rechargeable battery) and by doubling the card space, I can store as much music, photos and movies as I want and never be out of space.

When I retire I might just ditch my cell phone as well, as there would be no need for anyone to talk to me "right now".

I got my first cell phone in June of 1997, almost 21 years ago. It was a Motorola, the slimmed down version of their original brick phone. I still have it on display as a curiosity in the same case with my telegraph apparatus collection. In the intervening years, I've had Nokia, LG. Blackberry and the last few am back with Motorola, currently the Droid Maxx 2. The Motorolas have proven to be reliable good performers.

Most of my business, personal, family and back-up phones are iPhones.
Too many models to list, however I use my iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone SE models the most.

iPhone 6S. The big problem with iPhones is the damned cable flaking out. Now with the Lightning connector scheme, there are a lot of people trying to scam you by saying their cables have the iPhone chip in them, when they don't. Without the chip, the pins can't be directed to a given purpose (charging, data transfer, etc.).
