I was a friend of Jedidiah. It's nice to be here, and hello, cocopaz. I lost Baba two years ago, but adopted Athena, a tabby cat. She's a wonderful companion and likes to play--enough to wear me out. Will try to get a pic here soon.

Good Evening, (,,,=^. .^=,,,) Introducing Laceylady, a full blooded Dog-Cat! I'm particularly fond of Siamese, having adopted my first one at 20 (my age, not the cat's). Laceylady is the spitting image of Yum Yum, who died almost 3 years ago. Thanks for the second pic as well.

Am looking forward to seeing pics of Athena.

Meow, y'all.
I am so happy to see this group picking up. I know that there is a group over on Google Groups that was started when GasBuddy decided to do their misguided deed. About the same time I scrambled to find an alternative, too. I started to use Craigslist, and it works, but I think this will be better.
Please feel free to encourage members to join.

That's Big Boy to the left, looking out the dirty garage window. I've since cleaned the glass, but the cats aren't allowed out for their own safety. They disagree, but they haven't come with the cash to cover possible Vet bills they could rack up. it's a rough place to be a cat here. Big Boy came to us from the trailer park to the West of us. He has dandruff, but his bowels have firmed up since joining us in late 2015. He's an old soul and very gentle. He was neutered and de-clawed before we ever saw him. He is loved here with us, and we are committed to giving our cats the healthiest lives of their available 9. He has an appointment for teeth cleaning in April. His breath is a stunner. Just saying. Regards.

Regards. dirty garage window: oh dear, I can't invite you to my house. The whole place is a disorganized, filthy mess and not getting any better as I'm posting here. I don't let Cocoa the rescue cat out unsupervised either. Coyotes, hawks, owls, dogs, cars... She walks with us using a small dog harness, in basic black to match her Tonkinese black points. I also bought her a dog run (cage thing) where she happily sits on her throne, watching lizards, birds, etc.

Hello DrivingtoMars, (,,,=^. .^=,,,) Having a good heart gets us our share of unloved babies. My neighbor is ill with Alzheimer and her son put het two cats out last Summer. He refused to feed them too. They were pencil thin before I found out. They found their way to my house and are now fat an sassy. I put in a pet door, beds ect in the garage, but they still slept on her front steps all Winter. Bless you for caring and loving them! How people can just throw out their pets, I don't understand. That is how I got Cocoa, someone basically threw her out, even though they could have sold her (Tonkinese are EXPENSIVE) or called the non-kill Humane Society and had them pick her up. they still slept on her front steps all winter: breaks my heart. Your neighbor might still miss them, also. She might remember their touch.
