Last night, Smokey cat ran into my bedroom and hid under the bed. I usually sleep with the door closed, but not last night. She is now being my left-hand cat. She is on top of the ThinkPad's huge AC adaptor. It's 230 W for the machine and the docking station.

Butch cat is asleep on my bed right now. I think he's there because he smells that I was there, plus right now it's the warmest room in the house.

My cat will sleep on the 8 port ethernet switch sometimes cuz it's warm.

Smokey cat is sniffing the warm ThinkPad AC adaptor. It is only slightly warm. It would be warmer if I had all eight threads running along with the NVIDIA discrete graphics. The AC adaptor is rated at 230 watts.

Smokey cat has her head on the ThinkPad's AC adaptor. She would be out of the room if she laid down on the cable modem. The cable modem is in the living room as is her cat tower. She gets fed in the cat tower so the dogs can't mooch the cat food. Everything in the business room accesses the Internet via Wi-Fi.

I couldn't stand the slower speed of Wi-Fi for the big machines. The vast majority of the computers around here are in my home office. There is Ethernet run all over the house.
