Good afternoon! Is there a group for us to join? I'm new at this. Like cats in my house, there is always room for more. Welcome! OK, my wife actually won't let me have any more cats. She says (and my allergies agree) that five is plenty. I can rescue and foster, but I have to make sure they go up for adoption. And so, the no-kill shelters and I are on a first name basis. As is the TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) clinic that provides low cost spay/neuter, vaccination services for our "neighborhood", stray, abandoned, and feral cats. |

I now only have 1 cat.. 4 year old Smolley..I lost Rascal last month, she was almost 17 and my very first 'bottle baby'. Puffy died 6 months ago. I used to bury mine in my Pet Cemetery in the backyard but now have opted for Aquamation, a water replacement for fire in cremation, more eco friendly. I also now have 3 paw prints from Rascal, Puffy and my Keisha, a Border Collie mix.
I will be fostering kittens for the shelter again this year..we've had only 3-4 kittens so far this year

Meow, y'all.
The fist cat I had die on me as an adult own just devastated me. Grown man, crying while he's digging a hole under a tree. Cat, gray and white, short hair, named Ku. Double wrapped in plastic bags. That burial lasted less than a day.
I couldn't stand the thought of burying him there, knowing that one day I'd move away. I found a pet crematorium. I have the ashes in an urn on my shelf. And since I did move from that house, I feel better having the cremains with me.

Still working on setting up my new work laptop, reinstalling apps & tweaking it. The ol* one is on Windows 7 and the new one on Windows 10. Pixel is next to me on her short cat tree.
She loves the new cat bed we got from Chewy, which has an egg-crate foam base. I have to "fly" her from the bedroom to the living room in it, and back to the bedroom at night. She loves the texture, and "makes biscuits" in it.
