Hi Everyone,
Please pray for the people in the path of what could be a cat 4 Hurricane Ida to hit Louisiana tomorrow, Sunday 9/29/2021.
Ida could make landfall as a major hurricane on the 16th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina's landfalls in southeast Louisiana and Mississippi on Aug. 29, 2005.
(I live of the Gulf of Mexico in FL. My area is getting some of the outer bands, but nothing to be concerned about. However, I have been through several Hurricanes.)
Yes, my area will be sending help to wherever this Hurricane makes landfall and beyond.

alaric76, I think I remember that you are in NJ. If you are, I heard there is major flooding from what is left Hurricane Ida. Is everyone OK?

Hope you made it thru the hurricane! So far so good for my area of FL, but the "hurricane season" does not end to the end of November. |

gas cat, that may be what clif is talking about: the lengthening of seasons and the shift, like winter would be from dec thru may, not march!

I heard locally that there might be a change to "hurricane season" having it start a month earlier. Actually, it really does not matter to me as I usually have my supplies all year round. I just try to keep less food in the freezer which happens to be very full right now. |
