The Dog House

Scottish Terrier, I have had four and my current one is my first rescue- Onyx. We got him when he was about 10 months old and he is now almost 11 years old. He is a great dog, extremely friendly and loves to play.

WOOF! WOOF!!! WOOF! WOOF!!!

I have 2 rescued dogs:  a Basset Hound named Bubba and a Bagel (cross between a Beagle and a Basset Hound) named Bessie.

I just love the temperament of hounds.   In the past,  I fostered and adopted ex-racing greyhounds.  I also like the hounds' short coats, although they still shed and need brushing, they don't get matted hair like some longer haired dogs.

I had a beagle back in the 90s that I took to dog training classes when she was a pup.  We both learned a lot in the puppy class and took many training classes after that including several agility classes.   

I feed my dogs a brand called Exclusive dog food that I buy at a local Feed Center.  They carry a great selection of dog, cat, horse and chicken feed and their prices are often better than the chain stores.  I read the ingredients to make sure it was the right food for my dogs.   I tried other high quality dog food, including Blue dog food, but it wasn't the right food for them.
