I am curious about food. We fed Iams for a long time but switched a few months ago to Taste of the Wild.
What are you feeding? Why did you choose it? Do you use any supplements?

We are currently a two dog house. Both are rescues. One is a 9yo male cocker named Romeo we got from Indiana almost two years ago. The other is a female cocker we got from a rescue in Iowa last fall. She was found in a flooded yard in Texas with several other dogs in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. When we got her she was skin and bones (only 16 pounds!) had a thin and patchy coat and was absolutely obsessed with drinking. Two vets have guessed her to be at least 10. Now that we have gotten some solid nutrition in her she has really filled out and has a beautiful silky coat and runs around like a puppy. We have gotten her to trust that there will always be water in the dish. She appears mostly deaf and her eyesight is off a bit because if you toss her a ball or treat she will miss it and usually fall over trying to catch it. She came with the name Ava, but since she can't hear what we call her anyway I have taken to calling her...Steel Magnolia.

Two dogs:
Ritalin (her AKC name is "Rita Lynn" but she's so hyperactive!) is a purebred German Shepherd. Rocky is a miniature collie mutt. My housemate AJ calls him "Jell-O" because he shakes like Jell-O when a storm comes in.
This afternoon, the neighbor kids were coming up to the house and making Rocky bark. My housemate Chelsea told them to stop doing that. Then, the mail carrier came to the door and Chelsea made a comment about the brats doing it again. Especially when AJ was taking an afternoon nap.

Tucker, Lab-Croatian Sheepdog mix( looks like hairy Lab) he just turned 14, getting kinda creaky, called a coworker about work issue, he said ‘you really need another puppy’ been with us since 8 weeks. Teddy, beagle- chihuahua, got free off the Reservation when 5 weeks old. He’s a beastly chicken, guinuea hen, duck killer.... not a bad boy otherwise. Have loved and lost several labs, one was payment for plowing neighbors drive all winter. Several lab mixes, freebies. They’re all family.

Roxie is my mini-pinscher. She's a sweetie at 16 years old. I think she was the runt of the litter, cuz she was always smaller than other mini's and shorter legs too. She tops the scales at a whopping 8 pounds now. She always weighed 10 until she got geriatric.
