Hi geezer, and Tru if you check in to see birthday greetings. Geezer, seeing your post reminded me just in time that Tru's birthday is Jan. 30. I hope you are both doing well or at least ok, ie as well as possible. Tru, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! X0X0X!

Hi all. I’ve been absent for a few years…life kind of happened when I wasn’t paying attention. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi all. I’ve been absent for a few years…life kind of happened when I wasn’t paying attention. Hope everyone is doing well. Hi Dirt Girl! I'm happy to see you again. Your name on a recent post just accidentally caught my eye. I've only been looking at it very sporadically. I tried to email you some time ago. I've wondered how you are doing, and how you made it having to work through the worst of COVID. Glad you're well. Are you still working at the same place?

Hi goldie, I decided to start trying to post here again. I’ve been posting for points on GB too but don’t know how long that will last. Lots of unfamiliar names on the TC leader list. I think a lot of the people never posted in the forums and some of the older members left and a lot of spaces freed up for them to move up.
Yep, I’m still working there. We were open during covid and it was interesting. Business didn’t really slow down much. Now, though, things are much slower as the economy seems to have hit everyone but grocery stores and gas stations.

Hi dirtgirl (TwinCities,MN). Glad to hear you're doing ok and back here. I still post prices there, too, but I don't go out much so it's not very often. I try to get enough prices (10 or more) to post before and after midnight. But lately I've been forgetting to post them. Oh well. I have a lot of point. Any ideas of when would be a good time to "dump" them to try to win a gas card? I don't remember if I told you that I have some serious browser issues right now, until I get a new computer, and I don't know when that will be. My computer is too old to update the OS and that means I can't update browsers. I'm using two very old versions, one of Safari and the other Firefox. It's a hassle, and somethings just can't be done on them. One of those things is access the GB maps, which used to be my most common way of posting prices. I use my "favorites" list and some other things. I still miss DI and the advice he gave as well as our conversations. Sometimes something comes up that I really want to ask or tell him. mnrick still comes in here (not this topic) but much less frequently. Cheers! Oh, if you have any idea of why the email didn't work, please PM and let me know.

Hi goldie, I don’t have a clue why the email didn’t work.
I’ve noticed a lot of newer or new to me GB’s posting in the TC’s. One thing I noticed is some stations don’t get updated often if at all which never happened before.

Yeah, that site isn't like it used to be. They rarely update the "news" articles and you can just refresh them to get the points.
the three kinds of little 4" plants that I'm considering buying one of are: cyclamen, begonia and kalanchoe. I tend to forget to water my indoor plants sometimes. And the light in here is filtered by a UV film on the window/balcony door that were put on many, many years ago. Do you have advice which might be best for my conditions. OTOH I might have to eliminate them b/c my list is too long.

Cyclamens are too fussy as are kalanchoe. You might try a begonia. And yes, I do know where they get their plants from. You could try a philodendron or pathos. Menards may have some small ones that are inexpensive and they are forgiving as far as forgetting to water too.
