Happy Easter to all of my fellow Buddies & refugees from GoneBad. On the 922 miles down to Myrtle Beach from Massachusetts I averaged 37.5 in my Dodge Dart Limited 2.4 . Best ever was in Ireland I got 62mpg in a Renault Megane 1.7 diesel { 5 speed } & on another trip I got 57mpg in a Honda Accord 2.2 turbo diesel { 6 speed } which was one of my favorites as you could spin the wheels up to 3rd gear .

Best ever gasoline vehicle. 30 MPG in a 1997 Toyota RAV4 5 speed manual, back when they still sold 100% gasoline. Could never break the 30 MPG barrier when running E10 fuel.
Best I ever did running E10 was 29 MPG in both the Toyota RAV4 5 speed manual and my current 2010 Suburu Forester with automatic.
Best ever any vehicle. My 1982 Datsun 720 series King Cab Pickup with the SD-22 Diesel engine. 41 MPG on a trip from LA to San Francisco.

44mpg 1996 Ford Escort all highway on a trip to DC. I don't know why that car got great mileage (31mpg in mostly city driving) and now they have to make it a hybrid to get close.

Really under you, but very close....My next to last Civic gave me 41-42 mpgs from here (SW MIAMI TO Orlando) doing mostly 65 mph, automatic and with the A/C on all the time on that trip. Just an amazzing vehicle.

On Monday the 13th this May, from Indian Rocks Beach to Miami with a Pit Stop of an hour in Ave Maria (Collier County) and after close to 290 mls, the 2017 Turbo Civic did great ... 42.10 mpg's in an average of 65 MPH, Auto and with the A/C on all the time..
Slight better difference from the one 5 yrs ago, this one is Turbo and Performed really better than the older one.
Fantastic Performance.
