S is for Sailing In my younger years I used to crew in sailboat races on the Hudson River. All of these images are from the Hudson are near where I live. The middle image is of the Sloop Clearwater, a boat built by an organization begun by the singer and environmentalist Pete Seeger. School groups are frequent guests on the Clearwater, and learn about the river ecology and how to crew. The ice boat is on Tivoli Bay, which is one of the few Hudson locales which still occasionally freeze over. The bay is now isolated from the main river channel by the Amtrak railroad, and that isolation allows it to freeze over.

U is for Undulating [Man, this one got me in trouble with myself. * Undulate is defined as a movement or a motion. Very wavy in origin. * Ungulate is defined as any of a group of large, hoofed Mammals (Horses, Cows, Camels, Giraffes, etc.). * I don't use the term Undulate often, and would misspell (because of the way it sounds to me. {Blanking} Phonics!) the word for the motion, with the word for the animals. * Having an ample amount of time now, I need to check more words I've just always used and assumed they were used correctly, if they weren't incorrectly spelled. * Regards.]
