What musical instrument (or instruments) do you play?
My member name is a contraction of a nickname given me many years ago...a condensation of "bongo brother," since I play hand drums (bongos, congas, djembes, etc.) I can also play drumkit, but given the choice, I'll play the hand drums every time.

I keep dabbling with synthesizers and MIDI controllers, but my controller and tone generators were destroyed in Hurricane Harvey. Haven't yet turned in my home contents inventory, hopefully next month. I had to wait to get back in the house to figure out what had been salvaged so I could determine what was lost. I just got my building claim check (the second and larger one; I got the first one the middle of October) in today's mail. Now, we're going to put the finishing touches on the house! I thought the bank would be closed for Good Friday and Passover but that's only the stock market. No stock market to watch tomorrow, so I'm going to run errands and post a mess of gas prices to that other site tomorrow!

Goinn to the Biggest and BEST DIVE in Miami Dade County in another Hr, Club Glades in the Heart of the Redlands...Pure LIVE Rock and Roll in the HUGE Tiki Bar out back..
My neighbor's friend plays in a Band and they are featured tonite there ... Off to the LIVE Music FUN.

Name of the Rock Band is Bad Attittude and they were really good last nite. Enjoyable time out under the Huge Tiki Hut in the really nice Miami Spring weather we are having these days.

I.ve been playing lately a few tunes with the spanish guitar I have here at home...Nice feling, other than the pain on my fingers that press the cords, as I have lost all the calluses I had when younger.

The Accoustic (Spanish Guitar) with Tuner Gears in problems I gotta get 2 screws that only measure a MEASLY 5 mm each to get it working again !!! Went to the Guitar Center by Dadeland and the cute chick at the repairs area gave me 2 screws she removed from a 3 set tuner, unfortunately when I got home they did not fit, they are probably 1 mm too wide.  Gotta keep on searchinn for the parts for that EASY and CHEAP FIX... |
