Howdy COOTS!
I've spendin' as much time out on Riff Raft as I can, but life is gettin' in the way of even that! Been doin' a fair amount of travellin', pickin' on the ol' guitar, meetin' family obligations an' stuff like that. I figger I need about 9.75 more hours in each day to keep up with all the things I wanna do.
I see y'all have been keepin' the clubhouse in purty good shape. I'm really impressed with those automatic stills!!! I figgered they'd need some purty extensive maintenance by now but I was pleasantly surprised ta see 'em hummin' along and producin' high quality Miracle Hooch, which, by the way, sure brought back a lotta fond memories when I had my first sip.
I jist went down to check on that "special" batch we laid down in the "D" tunnel fer aging. OH! Youse guys are gonna love it. It's not quite pufffect but it'll blow yas outa yer socks! The best part is there's 23 casks and that oughta last about a year! I gotta hit the road tomorrow morning so I grabbed a cask to take along. Figurin' 15 jugs to a cask I oughta be in good shape till I kin git back here again..........see y'all down the road a piece!

Naw, geezer, the marina takes care of pullin' the boat, power washin' the bottom, an' gittin' her set up on blocks. Then my marine mechanic "winterizes" it, an' shrink wraps it in pretty blue plastic. Looks like I'll be pullin' her 'bout the middle of October, hopefully just after the peak change of seasons colors on the river.
I took the WonderTub out fer a spin.................best ride ever. Did some low level over Hooter City with the cloaking device on an' had a great time spyin' on the residents as they were bar-b-quein' in their back yards. Seems like they do more than bar-b-quein' in their back yards! Now I know why they have those high privacy fences...........................................
Did minor maintenance on the stills, an' everything is right up to snuff. We oughta have plenty of Miracle Hooch 'till at least 2067. Youse guys oughta check out that great MH in the casks in the "D" tunnel. It may be the best we ever made!

Great work, BG! One problem, tho. Snots is miffed you didn' pat his head or give him a treat while you were there. He's gittin' touchy in his ol' age. Smellier, too.

Well, I ain't been over here to the clubhouse in a while, but things are lookin' okay. The stills are runnin', the auto bottler is bottlin' and Snots is keepin' watch on things - mainly the insides of his eyelids. I guess I'll jes' fill his auto feeder, stoke the boiler an' head on home fer a few weeks.

A can of beer??? Dang it, there ain't no beer allowed in this here clubhouse! We got a still runnin' full time down in the tunnels below here an' all we serve is hooch! An' mighty fine hooch it is. Why, my cousin Zeke tried a jug a few months back an' he's still howlin' at the moon an' livin' with a pack of coyotes.

What, I missed another party??? Beer?? Beer?? I'm purty sure we banned that in this here clubhouse.
Y'know, geezer, I was wonderin' who that was out in the back 40, howlin' like a coyote................
I headed down to the "C" tunnel to check out that "special" batch we laid down in 2017. I believe it needs a couple more months, but even bein' "immature", it sure tickled the innards, an' put a big grin on my face!!! I poured a little in Snots' bowl an' he "danced" his approval! I think it may peak out in May or June.
It's really depressin' not bein' able to git out on the river with Riff Raft. Good thing I got a large supply of MH here at home the pantry. Fortunately, Mrs BG insn't as fond of it as I am, so it might last me till the snow melts. We'll see.
I hope y'all have a great New Year an' many happy Hooch Days!

Hey there, Tru. Nice ta see ya back here in the clubhouse. It's been mighty lonely 'round here for awhile now. Other than Snots, an' an occasional visit by BG, not much has been happenin'. The stills are on auto, so the hooch inventory is buildin' up, but there's no one here to sell it. Need a job? You can be our Merchandise Manager.

Merchandise manager? what does that entail and how much is the pay? will they have to taste the stuff to sell it? does a woman get less pay at that job than a man? Most importantly, Will l have to give up hammock time? That is the reason l like it here mostly but some of it is the people who stop in too.

Well, the pay is in hooch, of course, an' hooch is free to all club members. Now, whether the pay is less for women than men all depends on how much hooch you can drink as compared to the capacity of other club members. Fair warnin', BG can put away a LOT of Miracle Hooch, our best seller.The duties include makin' up "Grate Hooch fer Sale" signs an' makin' change when tourists show up ta buy some. If ya can do all that from a hammock, more power to ya.

I know it's been a while, but I do stop in ever now an' agin. Hmmmmmmm, Tru is considerin' helpin' push the hooch, huh? I'm bettin' she'd do a better job than enny of us. However, we cain't have her missin' out on enny of the hammock time, so I propose we put in automatic coin operated dispensin' machines. I din't realize there was that much demand from the public. I think we just need more members, 'cause if we sell too much, the politicians are gonna find a way to tax us. An' we don't need those headaches!
Tru, we all git the same pay! No gender bias here. We're thrilled that ya drop in an' make this joint more cheerful! Heck, even Snots mellows out when ya come in fer a visit. If we can do ennythin' to make yer stay more pleasant, just let us know, an' we'll bust our britches to make it happen.
I'm really tired of winter!!! Somma the guys at our Marina have cleared off a big rink in the upper harbor an' plan ta have a boot hockey tourney tomorrow. I'm in charge of bringin' the hooch, so I'm guessin' it's gonna be a tourney conducted in an altered state of consciousness. Oughta be fun. The National Weather Service is predictin' Spring flooding and unusual high water this upcoming season. I hope I kin git Riff Raft into the water before the floods hit. Since the docks and slips are all floating, she's better off in the water than in a flooded boat storage yard.
All the stills are hummin' right along an' we're gittin' set up nicely for the Summer. I serviced the WonderTub an' made sure the cloaking device is workin' properly. We're gonna hafta have a Spring party. Think about it, folks, an' bring yer suggestions.

OOOH l love Spring. A party sounds fun too, and l like food so that should be right down my ally and that there auto machine to get hooch is grate idee. IMO.
I like purty things so l will start chekin out the flowers around town. I did see to trees in bloom alredy.
I dunno about the job there tho as l don't drink a-toll, so I don't think would be a person to sell it and l do like the hammock time. Matter of fact l started a new xercise class coz l sit so much and it plum wore me out. I hadda sit down twyst on the marching part.
I noticed that Snots likes to follow me round and does take over my hammock when l'm gone. I do like dogs, not the fleas tho. So glad Snots don't have enny as he just takes a nip here n there. Those fleas is tee totalers don't cha no.
