Hey fella's n' gals. Anyone seen the box we packed the hammocks in? After all, it's Sunday and we got kinda a tradition go'n on here at the clubhouse to rest up after a strenuous week of doing really strenuous stuff.

Morning all. I am going out of town today. Big trip , a whole 16 miles to Fairfield at Costco. They have coffee on sale and l need it to sober up after reading all the drinking that goes on here. Also gas is shooting up since l last bought up .25c a gallon.
It will be a quick trip and l will return with lots of goodies l know. My freezer is too full for ice cream tho durn. I will look at their pork chops and steaks. Later coots and cooties. LOL.

Howdy Coots!
Trucky that box of hammocks bounced outa WonderTub when we hit that turbulence as we were leavin' Gastonia on the second to last trip. They were purty wore out so we just left 'em an' stopped at a sportin' goods store an' bought all new ones. They're set up out on the patio.
The Aux still plugged up yestiddy, so I got a larger diameter copper coil an' it appears to be workin' fine now. I'll be spendin' most of the day runnin' a power cable down to the aux still so be sure to save a jug for me for later this afternoon. I expect to develop a powerful thirst!
I gotta do some maintenance on Riff Raft before we splash her sometime around the middle of April. But then, I plan to reconnoiter where the revenooers are hangin' out this season, so we can avoid them whenever possible. I heard that they took over Clem's still site on Pike Island, but that's just rumor so far. I saw a couple of their high speed inflatables on trailers, an' they've got .50 cal machine guns mounted on the bows! I wonder what they're expectin' to encounter? ? We might hafta be extremely careful this season! Ahhh, but we've encountered adversity before, an' have always been able to out fox 'em.
Pass a jug. I gotta git ready for this day's tasks!

Well Tru. hope you had a good trip to Costco. If you need some extra freezer space you can use the one at the New Clubhouse. :::Whispering to BG::: We do have a freezer in here someplace, don't we?

Yup geezer. Sure ain't seen no revenooers. But I did hear a rumor that Deputy Fife quit his job at Gastonia and put in an application at Lumpkinville. It's that little berg right to the East of here.

Oh, NO! Not Depitty Fife! I figgered we were shut of him when we din't tell him where we were goin'! An' I hate ta tell yas, but Nurse Ratchet took a job at a nursin' home in Farnsworth. That's only 1.7 miles from here. Gee, the term "Bad Penny" comes to mind when I think about those two. Well, hopefully, Fire Marshall Bill won't be able ta find us. He would reconstitute the "terrible trio" that caused us so much consternation over in Gastonia.
Hey, Coots! I got the power run down to the Aux still, an' it's up an runnin' on automatic now. I hadda tweak the computer program a little since this still has more capacity, but it's runnin' smoothly. Now we gotta git a sun shade over the patio so we can nap comfortably in the hammocks. But first...................
Pass the jug. Don't wanna git started without first takin' the edge off my sobriety!

I enjoyed the drive to Costco thru the green hills of this Napa valley over to the bigger valley of Fairfield and all those big towns. We in Napa are noted for wines, but l don't partake, they give me a headache. I get a headache from the traffic the visitors cause in summer too.
I'm ready for the hammocks and no more cookin' for awhile.

BG, don't waste our hard earned money on one of them Sunsetters. I reckon they'd be all right if they had a ceiling fan to keep ya cool, but they don't.
