Reading through the life of Jesus, He was a devout Jew who didn't seem to miss a Jewish service or fail to celebrate Yamim Tovim (Holidays).
The New Testament is clear we are to be active members of local church body...God calls people to equip His Church and to equip the Saints for His works. (All of the messages in Revelations were to who? Churches)
It's not "one" sin...it's ALL of the sins...the Law states that if you disobey one, you've disobey'd them all.
Thank-you Father God for sending Your Son for us...Thank-You Holy Spirit for resurrecting us with the same Power that You raised Jesus from the dead with.

Thank you for commenting GM.
Yes groups of people, the original churches, not following any state sanctioned religion built upon the foundation and in the image of previous institutions built to follow mankind's self serving ways. Groups of people, the original churches, merely following a God commanded way of life, loving neighbour/enemy as self... the least we can do for now in our life long state of perpetual sin.
All sins stem from one original sin, that is they do not put the will of God before our own. One sin, one remedy.

<<<All sins stem from one original sin, that is they do not put the will of God before our own.>>>
Romans 3:10-12 10 as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; 11 no one understands; no one seeks for God. 12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.”
Romans 3:23 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
<<<One sin, one remedy.>>>
Jesus death on the cross through God's Grace Mercy and Love created the remedy.
Romans 10:9-10 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

That eternal remedy IMO (now and forever), would be the Kingdom and it's ways, that required Jesus, a means to an end, to follow the Father's will until the mortal conclusion, the end result being resurrection and a chance at the Kingdom for those who repented of man's animalistic self serving nature. A Kingdom built upon the same ideals God commanded man to follow, put the will of the Father first and love neighbour/enemy as self. A just existence.
Also a remedy while still in earth to counter the self serving ways of man.
A remedy that was opposite to the ways of man and yet at the same time was non threatening to individuals. This while at the same time, it was an alternative and thus a threat to the whole of mankind's system.
This latter threat has made the true Gospel of Jesus unpopular with mankind's institutions including that of the secular sanctioned gentile religion which rejoined the institutions of mankind and has as such, influenced and kept Christianity as a whole from the Kingdom and thus, no threat to the institutions of mankind.
World leaders who can't even quote scripture use Christianity even today to bolster support while their very governments and systems work in ways opposed to God's will. All this while a majority of those claiming to be Christians, never contradict the hypocrisy and, for the most part, defend the system of man. Haven't their churches taught them the upside down Kingdom in contradiction?
Mark one up for the Adversary.

"A 2015 Pew Research Center study found 35 percent of millennials identify their religion as "none" — that's twice the percentage of Boomers. If Christian hypocrisy isn't addressed, organized religion won't last." link

Do you counter all the self serving ways of man (not just one side) or do you defend them?

You can murder the messengers (like this one 38 yrs ago today) but the message of love neighbour as self lives on in the hearts of the few. ...link
