Is it possible to invert the order of messages, so that the newest are on top?

I was going to try the plug-in for it today, but my neighbor where I will be house sitting (and where I will have 24/7 PC access) postponed his trip until the 21st. I am sure you can grit your teeth until then.

Hitting the 'Participated' button brings you to the first unread post in your list. I do this. Of course it doesn't work for any topic you haven't posted in.

Here is a suggestion from Markel in another thread...
"In the old GB thread the newest post was always at the top when the thread was opened, whereas here I found myself always having to navigate to the last page after opening the thread. If you save a bookmark to this page it will look like
gbo.freeforums.net/thread/893/chicago-price-predictions-hike-notices?page=7
and then edit the bookmark (in Firefox you right click on it and choose "Properties") and change the value after "page=" to a large number (such as 700), when you click on that bookmark you will always open to the last page of the thread."
