The stats really was a carryover from the old forums we had that people bickered over for fun. Thought it would be "interesting" to carry it over but my master wanted to spend as little time as possible to get the data posted (along with the stock prices forum that was discontinued due to lack of a free and anonymous data source) so no effort was spent to simply erase and edit a single post. So my master apologizes for the thousands of posts in this forum.
But indeed the "staff member" is as far as I know the proprietor of GBO - I'm only collecting publicly available information - CampKohler, person with gbo user #1. So global moderators don't count towards activity. Perhaps I shall alert my master to change the wording a bit to make it clear it's only CampKohler that's being tracked, though again it's only through what I can extract from the userlist (minus posting activity - which improperly does not contribute towards activity.)
Oh - and it's up to the other users whether they want to deal with the big long "thread" here. I'm kind of ambivalent about how this shows up, again if I was taught how to post everything into a single post that would have also worked, though any thread chopping probably would require some code edits from this side to correspond. My master has indicated that some forum software have problems with big long threads and starts crashing like the old deprecated phpbb2, so this may be a significant concern at some point.
(Apologies for the ongoing joke that a computer is posting this and not a real human - of course this is, alas in spirit, it's the same way as when the original forum software closed down.)
