Looks like Toyota sees the writing on the wall for the Prius as not long after eliminating reporting out on the various categories of Prius options (Prius C, V, etc) they have now lumped the Prime in with the Prius to reduce the Prius to just one line item on their sales summary.
Even in doing so, the Prius STILL fell by 9% from June 2018 and is down YOY by 33%.
Queue the fat lady...

Car sales overall are continuing to drop, Hybrid or not. Popular SUV's like the RAV4, CRV and Highlander are all available in a hybrid, those are driving the sales.
The new Venza looks sharp but it is lacking interior space, it is noted in the reviews, something about the battery compartment reducing rear cargo space. I drive a Murano which has a similar style and starting price but in my opinion is the better vehicle, I like the roominess of it and the way it drives. If I was going to trade my Murano in I would either get another one or maybe a Honda Passport although I don't like that Honda has gone with the push button transmissions.
