I got MadFueler's message, too. I started two master station list change threads on the Dayton and Indiana pages. Keep an eye on the Casey's General Store website. Casey's plans to open new stations in the Ohio and Indiana area in 2018.

Casey's plans to open new stations in the Ohio and Indiana area in 2018. I am very aware of that. That is especially interesting to me since the new Casey's stores offer ethanol free fuel, and I add those entries to Pure-Gas.org in addition to the MSL.

I haven't had too much trouble here in Northern Nevada with changes to the MSL. If the change seems to take too long, persist. I sometimes have to go to "Contact Us" and send an e-mail. Don't be put off by Merlin, which is an ignorant auto response. E-mail again and request a personal response from a real human being. Good luck!
P.S. Hoping to soon see some familiar names from the Carson City, NV, area.

jsc72 - I've taken to trying to keep pure-gas.org updated as well as trying to add notes to the Station Notes box about any ethanol-free or higher-ethanol offerings. I don't buy much E0 myself, but I figure others will want to know where it is and what octane they can get. Suzzoom - Is there truly any other kind of auto response? What really gets my goat is when I try to tell the staff to add propane as a feature to a Shell or other locked station, or make a note about E0, E15, etc. and I get the same automatic reply as though I wanted to suggest them as reportable fuels. Fortunately, on help.gasbuddy.com, you can attach files so I've found it best to put changes to stations involving stuff like that into a text file or a Word document instead of entering it into the message field directly.

Here's another issue with MSL matters that seems "hot:" gashole's moniker on the 'other side' is "E85isNotE0" and I've corrected a lot of stations recently that had E85 listed among their available gas grades, but when I got there it was, in fact non-ethanol gas - quite the opposite! Unchecking this on the station's MSL page is a simple solution to this problem - that is, for each individual station - but is there anything we can do about this systemically?

Hi all, does anybody here know Erick2424nys, and why he keeps moving station markers around? Some in our area, who post frequently at these stations, might move a marker to make it more inline with the location of the station (centered on property), or to one side of the property. Yet this member who doesn't post prices here, ever, comes along a moves everything back to where he had last placed it.

samjam2 - I usually try to center a station's marker on the pumps or canopy (the usual custom in my region) except with GPS coordinates cleaned to 4 or 5 decimal digits. (I think I can credit jrsva with teaching me that one.) When stations are clustered, though, I try to place the map markers far enough apart so that they're still on the property but that you don't have to zoom in too much on the app to get enough separation to see and work with them. If that member's placements don't qualify on those counts, then maybe he's just trying to move them close enough to a certain point to get challenges - or just leave his mark on things.
legions06 - Welcome aboard!
BullDozer50 - Come to think of it, those may have been QT's for me too - especially since I've been updating in your area so much lately. (Charlotte, that is, for the rest of the group.) Maybe I'll have to grab my notes and look...

Looks like only the "forums" have vanished on GB so far, however, we all know it's probably a matter of time before the "blogs & news" section will cave. GB already has a two tiered system (or more) for different OS and and different aged phones. Not willing to buy the latest isheeple gadget just to provide GB with extra data to sell.

MF, some of the stations that showed E85 on GB were indeed E0, but that's b/c GB refused (geeeez wonder why?!) to put marine (non-ethanol) gas on the list.

MF: saw your buddy request on GB. With the future of many features being uncertain, I won't be accepting right now. No offense.

None taken, honda0105 and welcome! I didn't remember if I'd already invited you here, so that was the main purpose of the buddy request anyway. I was trying to find folks active with MSL whose whiteboards were closed or buddies-only, but with them all closed now, it's hard to remember who was who. Feel free to weigh in on any MSL issues we've already brought up, or comment on one of your own.
