SUVFan, or perhaps someone... can we start a GB News suggestions forum that has a thread per day with links from whoever? I'll try to review and post daily. Subject to the explanation in my previous post, here's an initial attempt at a topic: GB Article Suggestions -- Week of June 14, 2020. I'll quote PDs response to GasHole's suggestions as the second post in the topic so articles that have already been suggested are not duplicated. The lead post can be edited at anytime here, so we're not stuck with it. I've tried to set it up with a view to creating a format that can be a model for each successive week.

With GasBuddy curating the posted news articles, hopefully there will be fewer articles that aren't related to gas prices.

Welcome, PD. Thanks for trying to make a difference - though I know you have to walk the business tightrope.

Trying to tie the story with gas related news by citing the affect on convenience stores.

GasBuddy news hasn't been updated for more than a week. Is it disappearing?

GasBuddy news hasn't been updated for more than a week. Is it disappearing? I suppose it's possible that it *could* disappear sometime in the future. However, at this time, the lack of posting seems to be from PD having family stuff going on, according to his Twitter feed. PD had a death in the family. Hopefully, things will return to the new normal soon.

They were removed due to constant mis-use of news submissions for political agendas by a few users. The GasBuddy Blog will not be eliminated, and I will post news as time allows. Unfortunately as soon as PD starts posting news stories, someone with a new user name "Yab2020" goes over there and starts posting political stuff to ruin the news section again, and others. So if the news section is shut down at GasBuddy so be it.
