For all the gardeners and wannabee gardeners out there. I originally had this on the sitethatwontbementioned in the Twin City forums. But I decided why not have it for all people. For those who still want to order heirloom seeds for this years gardens, it's not too late. Thank you honeydog! I am in the wannabee category. Just not enough time to give it what it needs, but I try. I am mainly a pepper guy, and don't have a very big space, so I grow colored bell, jalapeno, and banana peppers, and roma tomatoes and cilantro for a salsa I make. I usually start the peppers from seeds, but gonna try buying plants this year. Or, is it not too late to start seeds?

Grover, I know how it is with life getting in the way. For me, gardening is a kind of therapy.
I just started my tomato seeds, and two kinds of pepper seeds. The pepper seeds I start are the extremely hot ones that you can't find in the stores. You should be fine start your pepper seeds now.
Now I have to start sharing my canned goods from last year so I can have empty jars for this year's harvest. I had a very bountiful harvest last year.

We always plant a garden. Its hard to beat a fresh vine ripe tomato. Got some Homestead tomato plants already, just waiting for it too warm up enough to set them out.

I used to garden, but haven't in a few years. Loved all the fresh produce though.

The two best parts are, watching for the ground starting to crack and that new plant beginning to emerge, then sharing and canning the harvest! The worst part happens in mid July when I know the war of the weeds isn't going my way. For me, the tomatoes and the yellow crookneck squash make it all worth while.

I bought these on Saturday at coon rapids home depot for around 39.99 they had one with blue led but it's 49.99. I buy these when menards have the 11 percent sale then home depot match with a gift card, but I need to buy some pvc pipe to make a light stand.

Wow! I wasn't aware it was even possible to have LED grow lights. That's fantastic!
