My daughter and her husband built a really nice greenhouse! They ordered heirloom seeds on line, and all it takes to start plants. That was about 6 years ago. The only use it has seen is the outdoor cats sleep in there. Life got in their way.

It's great therapy and the veggies I harvest are so much tastier than what you can buy in the store.

I just plant a couple of tomato plants, a hill of yellow crookneck squash, bell pepper plant, and garlic in the fall.

My Son plants a big garden and gives me all I want to eat and can or freeze. I just plant a couple of tomato plants, a hill of yellow crookneck squash, bell pepper plant, and garlic in the fall. I plant twenty varieties of tomato, various types of peppers from mild to very hot, various herbs, three kinds of beans, three kinds of carrots, Minnesota Midget melons, zucchini, cucumber, pickling cucumber, kumi kumi squash, lettuce, radishes, three kinds of potatoes, sweet corn, Glass Gem Corn (popcorn) strawberries, and peas. Now that the new fence is in, I can redo everything along that fence line and I'm going to put in raspberry, blueberry and blackberry bushes.

I put in a garden every year. We live out of/off our garden. Off to an early start this year (for me). Already have onion sets and potatoes in. Had a break in the weather and the soil was dry enough to turn over so I went for it. Hope those spuds don't rot in the ground. Lol.

Looking forward to the snow melting and the gardening to begin. Am tired of winter. The wheel of the year turns slowly.

Whoo hoo, I'm starting to see life in the tomato seeds I started over the weekend. It's nice to see others who get excited over seeds beginning to sprout! My goal is a ripe tomato by the 4th of July.🍅🍅🍅

Just about the time my tomatoes are at their peak the blight begins. In the end it always wins...
