Well the Chargers have now been a year+ in Los Angeles. They are fighting for brand recognition and support in LA and OC, but traction is slow. Lots of upset faithful fans in San Diego who are still upset with Spano ownership. I am one who doesn't like the Spanos family. They were never transparent in what they wanted out of the city of San Diego. However, the politics in San Diego is also bad! At the end of the day, the fans get screwed. This is BIG business and the owners care about their own pockets.
I still follow the Chargers and even went to a training camp last summer. I still like the players, but have lost so much respect for professional sports. I follow college sports much more, but will still watch the pro games. I'm a sucker...
BTW, great to see so many GB's make the switch to this website!

Chargers draft Safety Derwin James. Nice pick-up, though they still need an ILB and DT.

The Chargers trail KC by 1 game. They have been playing really good offense and Rivers is playing at a high level for an elder. Melvin Gordon is rushing down hill and breaking lots of tackles. They do miss Hunter Henry who was going has great hands and is very physical. Mike Pouncey has played awesome and showing leadership with that line as they are averaging a lot per yard and protecting Rivers. If Bosa returns soon, they will give KC a run for the championship as KC has not been challenged by any defense this season.

Chargers sweep Raiders. Four in a roll going back to 2017. They lose Mike LB Denzel Perryman to LCL injury.

Chargers get back to winning against the Cards yesterday as Rivers completes his first 25 pass attempts. Bosa gets a couple sacks and Derwin James an INT. Melvin Gordon goes down with a sprained MCL and will be out a couple games.

Chargers are still rolling after taking care of business with the Bengals... Now 10-3 and play the Chiefs on TNF. Lots of injuries as the Chargers may need to start their 3rd string RB who was cut and re-signed to the practice squad earlier in the year. The Chargers play like a team and get productivity out of different players each week.

Great win against the Chiefs in KC tonight. I loved the call at the end to go for 2 and win it outright. Bad officiating all night. Rivers is playing MVP ball.

Chargers are 11-3 and the hottest team right now. They host the Ravens this Saturday and are hoping the Chiefs lose to the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field. They either win out the division or are the 5th seed with the second best record in the AFC. They put 7 players into the Pro Bowl which is cool...

Please beat the Ratbirds! Steelers have 6 in the Pro Bowl and Joe Haden was defensive player of the week!

Looks like the Chargers will be playing the Ravens in the Wild Card game. I highly doubt that KC will lose to Oakland and the Ravens should handle the Browns.

Time for the Chargers' offense to show up against the Ravens. Need to prepare better with the constant barrage of blitzes that the Ravens will employ.

What a defensive game plan against the Ravens yesterday. They pretty much dominated the game until later in the 4th Quarter. Now it's on to NE and exorcise the demons of the past and beat the Pats at home. Chargers get Hunter Henry back which will help in the red zone.

Not starting off the season right with the injuries. The biggest issue right now is Left Tackle Russell Okung. He is out indefinitely and possibly his career could be over. Melvin Gordon is taking bad advice from his agent. He wants more than what the Chargers offered him. Sorry, but he is not worth top 5 talent at RB and he also has a year remaining on his rookie contract. He he was healthy I would consider giving him $12M tops, but I think $10-$11M is fair... Chargers will need to manage their cap as Joey Bosa will be backing up his RV next year. I can imagine him sitting out the year if he doesn't get his money...

Chargers are getting healthy and trying to make their usual late run...
