Welcome to the Great Big Total Points Poker (GBTPP) game. It's all about the points and fun. A different kind of Poker game. No leading zeroes. 1 hand per day. You use the digits of your Total Points as cards in a poker hand. For example, Total Points = 59,935, would be Two Pair (9s and 5s, w/ a 3 kicker). This is the 5, 6, and 7 Number games rolled up into one. I'm not as strict as I used to be. Will the 8-Number game become reality? We'll see. The winning hands have been listed. It may be possible soon.
Please note that leading zeros are not allowed in any hand. Some things need to be in place though. Upon earning 100,000 points, you qualify to play in the Enhanced ( 6-Number) game. There are a couple of things that you will need to know by reading the rules. Please do so. The rules will help explain one very important variable, and other key information. Included is the Winning Hands table, with an example of each winning hand. It is located at: www.drivingtomars.weebly.com/gbtpp, or click here. Also, at that address you will find a hands form in Excel format, and notes about using it. Please ask any questions you have. Otherwise, I believe it’s your turn. Good luck.

Total Points = 89,944.
Two Pair (9s and 4s), w/ an 8 kicker.
[Good Saturday, all.
You are free to participate. There is no charge, although there is less incentive with no points being awarded by that other unnamed entity. This is a test to see if there is sufficient interest in continuing the game(s), or retiring them and looking to start a new game of some type. I'll admit it's less attractive sitting on a different website than the one it was originated on. Regards.}

Total Points = 91,119.
Full House (1s filled with 9s).
{Good Easter Sunday (where applicable), all.
Arrogance and stupidity are a nasty combination, and will probably be the "Kiss of Death" for humans. We're already on the road to polluting the world to death, and killing the wildlife that's left. This is supposed to be a mythical and magical time. Easter, the resurrection and other fancy tricks. We need a fancy trick to unite the species before we extinct ourselves. We won't need an outside threat, we're already at each other's throats (figuratively speaking). For now. Yes, I like ham. I am very grateful for...]

Three of a Kind (4s), w/ a 9 kicker.
[Good Monday, all.
New week, maybe a little less dire commentary. Still like ham, and may have to get one because it's unavoidably affordable right now. Yes, it's a salt bomb, and the liquid it comes in is questionable. But it satisfies the hunger to chew and chew meat, like the carnivore I am. As an older person, I have less meals in front of me than have gone before. It's all a matter of priorities, and combing the cat's coats is up there with Spring developing around here. I am very grateful for...]

Two Pair (9s and 5s), w/ a 1 kicker.
[Good Tuesday, all.
More coffee creamer is needed. It's tough when the cats get busy in the early morning, and hot coffee is minutes away from one's lips. They're on a schedule, and we are either going to sleep earlier than we used to, or are sleep deprived. Which is nuts, because the sleep most of the day anyway. It just happens that our sleep urges are out of sync with the cats. Sounds like a musical group, OuttaSync. Anyway, Spring is in session. You shall not want. All will be provided to you. Imagination is a powerful tool, and a double edged sword at the same time. I don't have to make very much sense. It's Spring. I am very grateful for...]

Four of a Kind (9s), w/ a 4 kicker.
[Good Wednesday, all.
Spring is about to bust out all over. Weeds have started popping up. Like everywhere, and in places I haven't looked at yet, this season. I have this sense that, as in most places, if unattended that nature will only be too happy to load up vegetation that I may or may not want. It doesn't care about my preferences. I'm not the priority, and am irrelevant to nature. It may move slowly at first, but once the train is rolling, it is damn tough to stop. I am very grateful for...]

[Good Thursday, all.
The sun is rising a little earlier each day. A small warming trend through Saturday is forming. We like warming trends generally. At a point warm becomes more than warm. That isn't expected until June, but spikes and groups of hot temperatures will pop up. Shorts will replace sweats as uniform of the day. I am very grateful for...]

It appears to me that the future rolls over us in waves. Like an Ocean current. It's Friday. I allow for an edge on the brink of a weekend. In Spring. I am very grateful for...]

[Good Caturday, all.
It rained overnight. One of the few times this year. Not much sunshine this weekend, but it's warm enough for the rain to stay a liquid when it falls. We need it, and it just clears the air out. On a clear day... That will probably be sometime during the work week. People inside, and not loving it so much. I am very grateful for...]

[Good Sunday, all.
More rain last night. Good for plants, and cleans the air. We do have less people and less visible air pollution here, than on the Front Range. There, it's mostly particulates. The really small stuff that makes the sky orange at times. I'm still chewing on whether rolling out the other games is a good idea. There's been many people stop and look, but nobody's decided to play yet. It's not an emergency, and I don't need to create one. I am very grateful for...]

[Good Monday, all.
Have an appointment (this morning) to explore the technological advancements in medical imaging. I haven't previously had what I'm about to experience. The only downside is nothing to eat. For about 6 hours. Breathing. This is an endurance test. Like being a member of the unnamed and still operating organization. Not a race. No racing inside. I won't lose any weight most likely. I am very grateful for...]

[Good Tuesday, all.
What a difference a day makes. Had the first scan of radiation. Was able to eat, drink, and be merry in between the scans. No hangry, no muss, no accidents trying to find a restroom. Went really well. I'm glad I wasn't the first, but sad I won't be the last. Yes, the bed squeaks, and yes, it just moved up the "Will you fix that, please?!" list. I am very grateful for...]

[Good Wednesday, all.
Another report of fill-in-the-blank abuse, scandal, offensive behavior, or the dreaded fashion faux pas. Doesn't anybody breath anymore? The 24 hour news cycle is apparently a little slow for some in the media. Did I cause, or can I change the events in another part of the world? Maybe is about as good as it gets. A collapsed building on the Asian continent is a tragic event to those in and around it. But I didn't build that building, or have any part in its existence. Why would I even be shown something like that? Clearly, life is not a risk-less activity. Many people have tried to reduce the likelihood of accidental deaths, but in the end, we're all goners. What a ray of sunshine I am in the midweek. I am very grateful for...]
