Have 3 climatis plants in diff places and 3 diff climatis in on place. All are on either a nylon trellis or a ½ in by 10' ft copper pipes. They are red, blue, & purple, bloom for a few weeks and grow 8' tall, 2-3' ft wide. Nice flowers to have in the gardens.

Sounds like they add a ton of color!
I played 18 today. Rode in a cart but walked a bunch including looking for a number of lost balls in my 4some. Probably 2 miles or more.

Noticed one of the three clematis plants are blooming today. Have my first red flowers from them this year. They will all bloom w/in a few weeks. Got in a walk up the road. My back felt it so the walk was cut short.

Sounds like summer has arrived there!
Your back seems really mad right now.
I made it to TG today. Hit it poorly after a good round yesterday. Glad I didn't try to play 9.

Back is lousy at the present time. Walks or carrying a pan of water makes my back cry for mercy. Even back strengthening exercises ruin my back instead of helping. No choice but to take it easy.

Hopefully rest helps your back improve.
I had a trip to the dentist today -- always a blast.

A pal was driving me to Market Basket, the giant supermarket an hour from here. Dreaming of steak & cheese subs and had a list of goodies. The fellow ran out of gas on the way. The entire area is as rural as a forest can be. He walked to a store for a gallon of water, dumped it, and walked to a gas station to fill it. Nearly 1 hour in time. Then stayed locally.

Bet you had a can at your house that would have avoided the whole thing had you known your pal was running on fumes at the time.
So did you make it to MB?

Stayed locally. We are to go to Market Basket next week. He's going to Boston on Sunday for a few days. That area is to have a heat wave. Glad to be in the mtns w/its cooler nights and the windows open to catch all that pleasing air, then close the windows at 7-8 AM to trap the A/C via Mom Nature for the day.

You're lucky to be skipping the heat wave.
We've got an "excessive heat warning" that starts tomorrow at noon and lasts thru Friday. IOW, summer's here.

Not escaping the heat wave, the forecaster added some heat to Tues, Wed, & Thurs. At least the evenings and overnights will be cool. Can remember Boston heatwaves. House walls were hot at night. Our buddies would go to a lake, the beach, or the airport to get some relief from the heat.

We caught a break today when a storm popped up. Torrential rain on and off for most of an hour. Knocked the temp down to the low 80s from 91 at about 2 pm.
The libraries announced extended hours until it breaks except for Wednesday when they're closed for the holiday, but they're still opening 4 branches for a lot of the day -- no services other than wifi and a/c. City pools are also extending hours.
I got out early and played 18. Walked about 2 miles with a cart. It was nice to start but getting warm by the end -- car thermometer said it was 91 outside when I was a mile and a half from the course.
Bottom line: Summer's here!

Like Juneteenth or Emancipation Day (Texas). We need to celebrate the ending of slavery in the U.S. A heatwave arrives today. Going to be the hottest up north in years. We may even break a few records. Nights will be in the high 60's.

Day 2 of the Heat Warning here. Not as bad as advertised, we're just 89. But it was hot on the golf course. Really appreciated the shade. Walked a lot less today and most of it early in the round. About 1.5 miles.

The forecaster just removed some heat from Thurs so we are not actually are having a heat wave. Thurs is now forecast to be "only" 88°. W/the w/e to be in the 70's. Have the windows open tonight w/no breeze to rid the house of the 92° high temp of the day.
