There are multiple names used for a carbonated soft drink (CSD). What name do you use? Where are you from now? Where did you grow up?

I use the term "pop" for a CSD. That's the predominant term around Kansas City, where I grew up.
When I go to Kansas City, you find the CSDs on an aisle labeled "pop."
When I go shopping here in Metro Houston, you find the CSDs on an aisle labeled "soda."
I'm such a CSD fan that I have a Sodastream machine. If you don't know what it is, I'd describe it as a machine that makes pop. I think the next time I get up, I'm going to go make a bottle of pop.
Native Texans look askew if you say you're going to get some pop.

I've had some of that canned brewed coffee in Japan, and no, it's not carbonated. You can get it hot or cold from the same refrigeration unit, just from a different shelf.

I voted "other" as I use the generic term "soft drink", but usually I mention the specific brand I am drinking, which will be Jolt Cola, Coke or Pepsi.
