My point being :a rose is a rose is a rose: no matter what you call it. Housework is housework and that is what l am looking into at IHSS. A caregiver is much more and charges much more, often including nursing. An entirely different job.

IMO many bored, unhappy and angry people "actively seek" things to be offended by.
If you're looking to find fault with someone, or something you will.
My advice to them is to do something constructive with their lives.
Work, workout, participate in indoor/outdoor sports/activities, get a hobby, make/build something, fix something, invent something, volunteer, acquire valuable/marketable knowledge/skills, put down the smart phone and stay off Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
You won't have time to be miserable, angry or offended
You'l feel better about yourself and the world doing something productive as well...

IMO is a thread to express ones self in my opinion, and it can be good and it can be bad opinions. I like that no one HAS to respond to you. They can if they want to l suppose. You just express yourself freely. If you enjoy being on and reaching out to others and have the time to do so, which l have as a retired person, it can be as much fun as crossword puzzles are to some. I personally hate crossword or any puzzles except solving mysteries on TV before the detective does. I like trying to do that. Figure out who dunnit. IMO arguing about politics or religion are a waste of my time, and l choose not to do that for the most part. But or However l do choose to waste time on sites like this , well only this site actually. I do not like facebook or any others but l do enjoy talking to people here.

I love a mystery.
Recently an employee/tenant asked for help finding out who reported them to CPS.
I used my connections, resources and tech skills to help them out.
IMO, a person should have the right to face their accusers and/or sue/charge them for false reports which could cause them great emotional and financial damages.

IMO those big heavily laden purses women carry are germ filled and need to be discarded before shoulders and neck problems start. I have carried only a wallet and keys and now cell phone in my dress pockets and jacket .

The big lies of modern society:
1. "The check is in the mail." 2. "I'm from the government, and I'm here to help." 3. "Your call is very important to us." (delivered as a recorded message while on hold)
Regarding the last, I think phone hold queues would be more bearable if you had some idea how long it would take for a live person to answer. Some phone systems do this today. That gives people on hold the same knowledge of what to expect as if they were standing in a physical line, and is much more honest than meaningless platitudes like, "Your call is very important to us."

IMO there are many good qualities one can use in most any of the programs that countries other than ours use. There are also many good qualities in people that don't always show thru.

IMO it is hard to have empathy unless you yourself have experienced a thing. A loss of job, a loss of home, a loss of family. Then and probably only then can one realize the importance of support systems.
In CA recently during the shutdown, my son informed me, that the Federal workers were allowed to collect unemployment insurance. I did not know that and said "they had to pay it back right?" and he said "Yes, but at least they had income while on government shutdown" , that is one reason l love living in CA. WE CARE . There are programs to help people when they need it.

ALL States should have Laws to fine the ~Left Lane Huggers~ on Hwys when driving.
They are the ones that cause accidents and cause most road rages out there.
