Liberals especially would rather listen to rap songs about rape, murder, and adultery:
Then Listen to "Baby It's Cold Outside."

Topic of thread is "Seasonal song “Baby, It’s Cold Outside" being banished" What do you not understand weasel? Here's your sign! Christians don't attack other Christians, and generalizations like the one you made are patently false as well as unnecessarily divisive. And no, the song isn't being banished. If anything, it was probably just a publicity stunt more than anything. And it worked. Further, why is this in the religion forum? The song has nothing to do with religion in any way. If you want to make it political by discussing (slandering) liberals, maybe post it in the politics forum?

Here's an interesting little tid-bit.
What Holiday was Jingle Bells written for?
History/ Origin: Jingle Bells was written and composed by James Pierpoint a minister, in 1857. He wrote it for children celebrating Thanksgiving at his Boston Sunday School. While it was originally written for Thanksgiving, the sleigh bells in the Jingle Bells music made it a popular Christmas song.

There doesn't seem to be much difference between Thanksgiving and Christmas there any more. Also one starts the annual commerce rush the other ends it. So Jingley Bells seems appropriate either way.

What about that song of Christmas seduction by that temptress, Eartha Kitt, known as "Santa Baby"?
Honestly, that makes “Baby, It’s Cold Outside" more obviously a song of harmless flirtation.
If we were to go through all the various Christmas and related songs for political correctness, there would not be much left. Nor would Christmas itself be left.
