Fridge still going on gas thankfully. Warm & humid here in Demopolis with severe weather north & south of us, good place for it!! Wife got little excited yesterday about hail possibility so awning is rolled up, Jeep in the compound, slides pulled in on account of slide toppers, things pretty well tidied up . Getting very dark out now, little shower probably coming.

It's 39° and mostly clear in the backyard this evening. Welcome to the VERY last evening of Winter for this season - tomorrow is Spring!!
laceylady - yes, a good day up here too. Buds are slowing beginning to swell, so it won't be long now. I like your comment about the dew....
drdenny - how did they do? Not a big fan of basketball, neither men's or women's. I trust you had a good time with your visitors. Thanks for straightening me out on the "birds".
johnmori - I believe this is around the time your severe weather starts, isn't it? Been to Birmingham once ('88?) but never sat bad weather while there.
joelimo - no rain here today, nor tomorrow. Looks like the nastiness is going south of us this time.
loranda - let's hope you're correct on the going out for Winter. We have a chuck of ice sitting in a shady part of the roof - need a much warmer day to melt it.
eggman - could have told you that it would dry up soon!
wb6yyz - you must live somewhere in the northeast or upper mid-west. Next thing you know is that we'll be complaining about the heat.
gramsjc - we share the same happiness about Spring!
rover11 - I guess that's one of the prices we have to pay for development and expansion.
bluwahoo - you probably need the rain, but the sun will come out (tomorrow) or some time soon. Hang in there!
sabob - I usually pull my awnings in at night regardless. Good idea on your part to pull in the slides too - never know how damaging hail can be.....
waubeek - somebody told me that they're sending Spring up your way for Spring.

54° here now and only goin up to 60° today,,,
we had an Hallacious Thunderstorm last night with driving rain and nasty wind,,,
more rain today but nothing about a thunderstorm in the forecast,,,

It’s oddly warm in Chambersburg, PA, this morning. The heat pumps are still running because it’s 38! The snow is supposed to start between 7 and 8. And the forecast for the entire storm is now 8-12”. I ran out and put 2 gallons of gas in the can since it might take a lot to shed that much white stuff.

joelimo - I guess I'm going to have to start keeping track of where GBO-Landers live; I do not remember where you said that you live. T-storms are not the highest of my likable things, but better than the now we might get later this evening.
eggman - your avatar does not show any mud, so I'm assuming (there's that word again) that grass will eventually grow and the mud will disappear. Hope it's soon for you.
drdenny - sorry to hear about your prediction of 8" - 12". With any luck, we'll get just a coating, but if it shifts just a bit north, we might get up to the 2" - 4" range. Will let you know tomorrow, and good luck to you!
loranda - based on what snodoopaw said on the other side, I think he and drdenny will get at least several inches. At least you're not getting any lake effect right now 
waubeek - I see you're working your way up the member rankings - congrats on the "senior" ranking (I also rank as "senior", but just not here in GBO-Land  )
laceylady - I like your weather quotes! Have you herd (pun) about if the cows are lying down, it's going to rain.
hen23 - I liked that too - no wonder it always rains after we have a campfire while camping: our smoke always swirls around and never goes straight up.

Welcome to the first day of spring.
Cooled off a little bit overnight. Now only 47 degrees and only going up to low 70 maybe.
