Yes Laceylady that does look nice. We do a lot of tent camping. Go for about a week every year. Last year we camped in the finger lakes area of NY. It was great. Beatiful scenery. Friendly people. Nice camp ground and best of all a whole lot of wineries there to sample different wines. We came home with 2 cases of assorted wines we purchased. But I am off topic (🍾). I have been tent camping since was 11 in the scouts. Which was quite a while ago. I only cook over a wood fire and am excellent (bragging now). Got a collection of cast iron ware and can cook, bake or whatever. It is relaxing. Took another couple with us the last time and they were amazed. Eating was/and is the best part of camping.
Oh before I forget a mountain pie requires a mountain pie iron. It is two slices of bread with your favorite topping inside depending on what you want. Like for breakfast on the day we break camp we use apple pie filling or cherry pie filling. Easy cleanup to breakdown camp. Or late during campfire time instead of a hot dog or whatever we will make pizza ones with sauce, cheese, and pepperoni between the slices. Then you just toast them over the fire. The bread slices stick together cause if the iron and when you remove those golden brown baby's. Yum yum. But you got to coat the iron with Pam or something like that so it does not stick. Well this is long enough for now. Take care everyone and be careful out there.

WOW still. I have been hit a few times. The worst had me out of work for a month, while in the emergency room. the spent the entire night planning a fasciotomy on my leg to fix the compartment syndrome they believed I had. About 1/2 before they are going to do that, another doctor came in and said I didn't need that. They sent me home with some good drugs, and to stay off it for a month. Then I went to therapy to learn how to use my leg again, and learn how to pedal again. That happened Jan 7. June 3 for the Tour de Cure, I brought my spin bike and spun for 5 hours, since I wasn't allowed on a bike on the road yet. About a month after that I was back on the road. Guy didn't know he hit me. HE hit me with his front passenger quarter panel, I rolled down the side of the car, took out the passenger mirror, and eventually ended up on the street near his rear tire. Bike was totaled. IT was my first accident, probably in shock, so I didn't get any information from him.

I think all of us have went through good and bad times weather we want to admit it or not. Some of us health wise, some of s other wise. I lost a daughter at 31 to a drunk driver; her husband. I lost my husband after 49 years of marriage to Mesothelioma. Life is NOT fair that's for dang sure.

I just hope that maybe you could just come here to this country folks posting site and join in the conversation. We all strive for peace in different ways. I hope you can find yours.

Grover. That's just terrible. I too like in the country and the roads are narrow. We give bikers lots of space.

Lacey. S'mores would be a really nice. Have you ever had a mountain pie??? Yes LOL. I need to only get a case or two of beer to go with the 8 or 10 that are already there. Ha ha ha. That's insurance. Best you can buy around here. MadDog. I hope you get to keep the leg. Keep taking the pills. I didn't realize the person who hit you actually looked at you and then speeded up. Was it 01:30 pm or am?? Did they identify who it was? Well. Worked in the garage yesterday and am about 2/3 done insulating and rewiring ceiling. Went a couple of miles up and down the ladder. My legs are feeling it. Then took Cindy out to a farm bureau dinner last night. Talked with some other farmers I haven't seen for awhile. Nice night out. It was 1:30 am New Year's Eve morning. I just got off work. Sounds like the garage is coming alone. I ordered that JLT Performance CAI for my Ecoboost today. It says it should be here by Tuesday! That means I'll install it before I leave for Oklahoma!

Maddog, Paul was never stumped. If you haven't seen it, you should watch the movie The Graduate...the song will make more sense then.

Lacey. S'mores would be a really nice. Have you ever had a mountain pie??? I have never heard of mountain pie much less ate any. I have always been a camper and toasted many marshmallows for the kids for S'mores. I will post a picture 0f my Christmas present from my Son. It is our campsite in Canada. If you click a picture it will go full size! That's pretty cool! I love the detail!

Nope you can't be cause I am the walrus. Are you Paul? LOL, it's hard to not call you Tru. Also, I think I'll get you mixed up with LOL. LOL. Does anyone know how to create a "favorites" list or something similar? I've clicked "bookmark" a few times, but don't know how to access them. It's hard to remember which forums I've posted in and find them again. Also, when I edit a post, is there a time limit like there was before?
