Yesterday Life started out not so good. Made a plan to meet a couple an hour away for a mtn bike ride. I sent a text with a typo and mentioned 2, instead of our planned time at 1, and she asked if I was joking cause they were always late. I said nope, type. I got to the trail at 12:56 and saw a guy I know and talked with him a bit. Texted my friends at 1:10 and asked where they were. She states in the lot. I look around the small lot and don't see them. I walk to the biffy and still don't see them. She says they are by the water tower. Ain't no water tower where I am. She calls. I ask, is your lot paved? Mine isn't. She says yes. They are at the place I mentioned, and said maybe we could go after. So, they come to the trail, about 20 minutes later, we ride. Trail has had several changes, and we split at one point, he and I going on the intermediate trail, and she took the beginner, and we thought they would meet up. Well, they didn't. We waited for her to finish her beginner loop, then ride the intermediate trail to us. We rode the rest of the way, and towards the end, she got a call and had to work. So, we go a little faster to the lot, and she takes out her laptop and works, while he and I ride the section we missed. Kinda strange, the beginner trail has a lot of obstacles, raised skinny things to ride. We got back to the lot, hoping she would be done, but she wasn't, so we rode the other shorter section. Got back, she was done, and we enjoyed a refreshment today. Turned out to be a long day, but a good day.
