Thanks for the update, Marnatha...I've been praying for Timothy! (I love that name!) "Hound of Heaven"...there's an old Pentecostal name I haven't heard in years! YES! We should always be a House of Prayer (in your Temple of the Holy Ghost) and ask ask ask the Lord....doesn't He say we have not because we have not? So, God forbid, we go without because we didn't ask! (The mystery of prayer...why the Lord cherishes our time with Him so much but, yes, He does! I've even had dry spells where my prayer life was lacking and when I came to my senses and started up, again, He's whispered to me, "I've missed you!"
Oh I love my Jesus!!
Oh no, my granddaughter is headed to urgent care...looks like pink eye and all 4 grandbabies had a sleepover last night! Might be a fun weekend!! :-)

I thank you for the prayers...I had a nerve destroyed yesterday by ablation . It will take ten days to know if it is successful. Now I get to rest. Most of you know I have Parkinson's, but I am doing great (according to Dr.) except written communication. I do write goofy sentences at times...bear with me.
Maybe I was goofy all along. (-;
One thing I wish they would change here is put last post, first ...like GB did. Hard to teach an old dog new tricks.
I love that reb has graduated to playing with toilet paper rolls. Graduated .
Canadiens, I have not forgotten your brother, as I place him right in the same prayer as for my sister. I hope Eva is better everyday.
Celtic is in my prayers....bless her and Phoe Phoe... Lord give their journey your light.
Tom and Jan.....so glad you got to do grandie duties. Timothy is one tough guy.

PanamaJack?; yeah, it's one of M&M's sidekicks who loves puns. Our choir is singing too soon for me. Time-change and the time to get my wife out the door, into the car...using a walker. It will take GOD'S PLENTIFUL GRACE to get there in time. Now if I could put her on a Jazzi w/ a license plate, point her in the right direction... Oy vey!
You saints do pray...but I miss hearing from Larry, Rick...oh so many. CoCoPaz needs deputized to round them up and registered....or send her BIG CAT to join my John Aslan, the LION-like w/ Maine Coon after you MIA's. John Aslan is well over 14 lean, mean PURR-FECT demeanor. He sounds like a Chinook coming in 'ferrying troups' of angels to help 'convince' our M&M w/ Nuts MIA's they need to get with the Program. And our Timothy does trouble-shooting for companies needing IT system readiness.
Good! Mary is ticking. Ablations do seem to help...sadly for too short a time before the nerve(s) grow back together. So many of us need God's Awesome Grace to go forth into battle in our calling. And I get to go inside to see 90 Kairos brethren at BeCI Sunday afternoon...for fellowship, worship, body ministry...and my desire is that they minister to each other, not looking to us 'experts'....for them to be God's vessels of mercy...preparing them to go back into their dorms to intercede for fellow inmates, but staff C/O's with God's means of redemption!!
I also desire prayer that the brothers will enter into WORSHIP, praying for the needs they do hear from the media: there is POSITIVE work being done, not just the tragic stuff the enemy seems to get too much attention. We had to remind the enemy JESUS Won the Victory, coming to set the captives free...using vessels such as we are.
Onward Christian Soldiers...into our Mission Field, White unto Harvest. The Great Commission hasn't been cancelled!!

Hey reb --- on that getting older thing --- yeah I hear you but getting older and dealing with the "stuff" beats the alternative....
The rate of change is increasing with time and the only steady thing is the person we wake up and give thanks to every morning.

Sorry for the "out of sequence" post. I forgot how things work here as opposed to GB.....
Glad to see so may good folks here from GB....... Especially glad to see da TacoBelle...... You be good not and keep thinking of the 20lb Walleye that is just biding its time to "take the bait" this summer......
We had a rainstorm roll through last night - it dropped .62 inches of needed rain.....
Just another thing to say thanks for..... Life is good I tell ya..... This being retired is better than it was cracked up to be.....

Howdy, to Panama and flyboy.... glad you stopped here. Panama told me he could not see his posts; so the question is, if you are not a member, or you are new, can you not see your own posts.? This is all so new.
Where is coco? and sissurf?
We have to talk Canadiens into coming here.
Gman...love the picture of you and your grandie.
I do think that many found it too daunting to come to a new place. It is different but I do not want to lose track of all folks. I am very sentimental ...can't stand good byes.

I just got on a few sec. after you M&M.
My new hobby this year will be raising honey bees along with my swallowtails and monarch butterflies.
The first year of raising bees there will be no honey, but I'm told the nucs I'm getting should produce honey the first year since they are coming from North Carolina and they are already searching for pollen.
I really want to get into apitherapy with the honey bees. So many health benefits in raising bees!

Look what I just came across Mexicomaria! static.secure.website/wscfus/9893467/7116275/venomreview-3.pdfBee Venom: Composition, Health, Medicine: A Review Stefan Bogdanov "Parkinson Bee venom reduces neuroinflammation in the MPTP-Induced Model of Parkinson's Disease in mice46 and protects SH-SY5Y human neuroblastoma cells from 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium-induced apoptotic cell death18 The BV-peptide Apamin has a neuro protective effect and can affect positively Parkinson. This was tested in animal models17. In Russia BV is successfully used in Parkinson's patients. After the Russian apitherapy school BV reduces the Parkinson symptoms. This effect is due to the positive biological effect of BV on the brain: the blood supply and the supply of dopamine in the brain is improved, it increases the brain blood vessels and reduces blood coagulation. The Michael Fox Parkinson Foundation supports clinical research on the use of BG against Parkinson at the Pitie-Salpetriere hospital in Paris. On the basis of the clinical research an patient for the application using the injection of Apamin against Parkinson was submitted in January 2011 (Patent application number: 20110009330 from 01/13/2011). However in mice model experiments apamin reproduced these protective effects only partially, suggesting that other components of bee venom enhance the protective action of the peptide2 A study was conducted the effectiveness of both acupuncture and bee venom acupuncture as adjuvant therapies for idiopathic Parkinson's disease of 43 adults with idiopathic Parkinson's disease who had been on a stable dose of antiparkinsonian medication for at least 1 month. They were randomly assigned to 1 of 3 groups: acupuncture, bee venom acupuncture, or control. All participants were assessed using the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale, the Parkinson's Disease Quality of Life Questionnaire, the Beck Depression Inventory, the Berg Balance Scale, and the time and number of steps required to walk 30 m. Treatment groups underwent stimulation of 10 acupuncture points using acupuncture or bee venom acupuncture twice a week for 8 weeks. The initial assessment was repeated at the completion of treatment. The control group did not receive any treatment. Participants in the bee venom acupuncture group showed significant improvement on the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (total score, as well as parts II and III individually), the Berg Balance Scale, and the 30 m walking time. When compared to the control group, the bee venom acupuncture group experienced significantly greater improvement on the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale. In the acupuncture group, the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (part III and total scores) and the Beck Depression Inventory showed significant improvement. The control group showed no significant changes in any outcome after 8 weeks. In this pilot study, both acupuncture and bee venom acupuncture showed promising results as adjuvant therapies for Parkinson's disease13 A neuroprotective effects of bee venom phospholipase 2 is postulated by suppression of neuroinflammatory responses in mouse model of Parkinson's disease14. Bee venom acupuncture had a neuroprotective effect in a mouse model of Parkinson95"

Is anyone else beside me realizing more 'forgetfulness/lack of memory, even short-term memory loss'? And I just remembered some advice I gave a week ago in prison: "Read the WORD aloud; you're registering those words at least twice in your brain: through the eye-gate and then through the ear-gate. If you put the WORD to song/music, then it's like an added nuance that helps you recall the WORD better due to the music. Do you realize how someone's voice triggers your memory of that person...in its timbre and its nuances? Oh, I could go on with the benefits. Smell is another sense that 'melds' with the use of our other senses, too!! Now I'm preachin' to myself, as well as the choir!
I went to the monthly Reunion at BeCI this Sunday afternoon. Weather was ~nice~, but there were too many MIA, but how wonderful it was to see dear brothers/friends. We had two 'new' Kairos grads transferred into our prison from other prison in Ohio. And you could see the visible 'fulfillment' showing on their faces/responses to being included. So glad I went. We had eight Kairos servant-team members there. The worship was great!! Understatement! But two 'residents' gave talks, with discussion questions we were to share within each circle of eight+ members. One brother had a beautiful >puppy being handled/trained/groomed, which is a real blessing to those who participate in that valuable program.
One brother is a walking, talking miracle. His nickname is "Stutterbox" and he struggled during his talk. To see the grace shown to him by the men! They respect his courage after years he's struggled with rejection, likely bullying, etc....his mind is sharp. Then another brother read his 'talk'...powerful and well thought-out and delivered!! No, we're not to compare ourselves, but to challenge each other toward Christ-likeness, with all our mind, soul, strength, etc. Oh, to see the camaraderie between brethren of varying skin hues!! What heaven will be like; every tribe, tongue, etc. I sat next to a former 'muslim'. The 'puppy' licked my shoes..must have smelled our four cats and Chihuahua. Or licked my hands. Oh, please pray about becoming part of a Kairos team or other excellent prison ministry. Getting to work with future ministers/evangelists/pastors/missionaries/lay leaders in the business/professional settings...REHABILITATION shouldn't be skipped over, it should be the OBJECTIVE. Sadly not all offenders want to be changed nor should they be 'forced to change'...change must be motivated by/through the heart.
So an amazing Question arose: "Where in the WORD does it say we can/must 'forgive ourselves'? Yes, we are to forgive others, or God can't forgive us...!" You're assignment?
Oh, I saw some NEWS links from HeavenRazor, as well as a comment from CoCoPaz. Thanks, bro & sis!!

What happened today with fellow Ga$Bud$ who like M&M's with peanuts in the middle. I also like raisins with a Milk Chocolate glaze coating. Ants? Grubs?....Nah!!
I was in prison again this evening, different prison than last/Sunday evening!!
The Lord showed up; one young curly-haired man of a darker hue rushed up to me and confessed: "I just gave my life to JESUS. The next thing I want to do is get baptized!" A brother came up with him, yes a loving 'white' brother who likely was involved in the 'transaction', all excited, too!
....Praise God to NOT see the racism here! What a sight to behold!! It gets me to singing....: "Oh, what fellowship, Oh, what joy divine, leaning on the everlasting Arms....[Where's Rick to help with the lyrics!!]
Another brother asked for us to sing "I Surrender All" then we sang "As the deer panteth for the water, so my soul longeth after thee". Yes, we had "CHURCH"...in prison. The Apostle Paul had "CHURCH" chained to a Roman soldier....that soldier couldn't escape from Paul! LOL Hallelujah!
I spoke about desiring, seeking after God's PRESENCE. Abiding in His presence; seeking after His face, to know His character...'to imagine' seeing our God smiling at each of us through the shed blood of the Spotless Lamb of God in resurrection power/reality!!
The Lord is not indifferent to the tragedy in Syria, where Saul was headed to persecute those Jews of the Way. He left Syria as Bro. PAUL, evangelist/sent to reach we Gentiles with the Gospel. But....
Sadly I know too well the horrible cost, suffering of Christians, etc. being attacked by WMD's: Sarin and Chlorine gas and ?possibly other nerve agents? Yes, I was a "Chemical officer during the Vietnam war to defend against our foes using Chemical, Biological and Radiological 'weapons' against our soldier..w/ protective equipment, detectors/monitors...my last year on active duty in Washington state; CBR is now NBC, nuclear, biological and chemical WMD's. The training films and exercises were horrid, but don't match the horror of women and children/babies being murdered mercilessly!! It was the horrendous weapons(including flamethrowers and nerve agents) that God helped PUSH me to JESUS. And HE met me 'just as I was' in need of total surrender. PRAY for the Peace of Jerusalem, for wisdom for our President, VP Pence and the administration..WISDOM from on HIGH.
The National Day of Prayer! It should be Daily National Seasons of Repenting Prayer. YBIC, Hermano Tomas'

"Lord, have mercy..." Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant So sorry I couldn't add this to my last post. And add Psalm 100:4 "I will enter His gates with Thanksgiving in my heart; I will enter His courts with praise. I will say "This is the Day that the LORD has made"; I will rejoice for HE has made me glad.....
