Afternoon from suburb west of Chicago....
Maranatha, I can relate getting out with someone with walker / wheelchair. It’s sometime tough for me to get out on time.
Mexicomaria, my grandson knows how to make me smile. After I yawned several times one morning... he started yawning and looking at me... had a big smile on his face... And as for goofy writing, hadn’t noticed it....
Sissurf you are an ambitious person with the honey bees. Had a guy worke d with that lived out in farm country and got hens for wife, and he got bees. Unfortunately his bees were not received well... died... so he put add in craigslist, to remove honey bee nests. He made a lot of $’son weekend and got honey bee’s for free... his biggest complaint was people didn’t know difference with bee’s and wasps. (He did it, but charged extra).
Guitarman, just recovering from coldsomeone "shared" on Easter.. hope the grannies are good...
Fly, it’s tough. Used to be a fast walker... my wife commented tha a week walking with me (on vacation) slowed her down (on treadmill)...
Yesterday, woke to snow... actually had a but, and though it did not stick much on street / sidewalk, and did melt later in day.. really depressing.. April snow?
Going to be 70 tomorrow, but snow later in week?
Pray for folks but don’t check site as often...

Sissurf...we watched a whole movie on PBS on the butterflies ....The Painted Lady travels further than any butterfly. They fly really high. It was one of the best films I have seen. Every part of their life was in the film. Try to find it.
Still back on the UM forum...what is that.
I prefer the newest post being first.....Who do we tell that to?

Forum software won't allow order to change. There is a plug-in by others that should do it, but previous experience revealed some problems when it was used. Therefore I am delaying that experiment ...

Am still alive...
sissurf: hurray for raising bees! I've thought about it and decided that I'm chicken. I could get the local bee association to harvest the honey, I guess. Right now I'm supplying them with rosemary that is in bloom, ditto lemon, lime and orange trees, and well liked flowers. Also I have a man-made pond that gives them water.
Prayers for all, for physical healing and psychological healing. For us, this is now the 4th day that H has been off work due to illness, which is a record. I started getting some symptoms yesterday . Oh well.

I love your dots, reb, always glad to see folks who like dots...... Did I ever thank you for standing up for me and dots....?
After watching congress grill Zuckerberg....it becomes clear to me why GB moved and closed their site. Remember when conservative Christians, and conservative minded folks would get banned in six member groups. They said, they owned GB site and they could ban whoever they wanted. That is scary business. I remember when one member said he was going to go get the mods over a topic I started on censorship. BOOM... my site was closed. I got banned later for posting a video that showed Christians being killed. Five minutes after I put it up, I asked them to take the video down.......they banned me... I am only here because of those of you prayed for me and talked to the mods. On GB the mods were posting with you...I knew the one that got me banned.
I do not belong to FaceBook but it is very scary when you see their bias about shutting some folks down. Inproportionate amt of Cons. to Libs. being blked. I think the day will come when we will have to post only on Christian forums. It is hard anymore to find folks that understand the Constitution on religions. So, I am saying that I feel that Christians will find it harder and harder to post Christian thoughts on a subject.

You could always post on forums outside the US. That leaves you 95% of the world to play with.

Glad to see you coco.....praying for your hubby.
I was trying to shhhhhh the dogs who were barking like crazy; I looked out the window and there was ComeOn my little doe. So, I ran to get her food. I noted when running back that she had friends with her....at least six other deer... They all ran different directions when I got close. I was just glad to see she made it through the winter.
“Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.” (Psalm 107:19-20)
God did this for me.

Who's a Senior Member on here? Does that mean that the SM 'lives' on this forum? LOL For me, SPRING is here in the Buckeye State, even though Winter keeps hanging around! But we have wildflowers up and shining in their glory. And that reminds me of the song with the lyrics: "...what a wondrous time is Spring, when all the flowers are budding." from "Pass It On", an 'old classic' campfire song from Campus Crusade4Christ, now called CRU. I think it even mentions bees, too!
I have beehives, with foundation, frames, smoker, etc. But developed anaphylactic shock after a short time working with them. NOW, anything will set me off; bees usually die after stinging once, but hornets, wasps, any stinging insect causes me to have an EpiPen nearby..IMMEDIATELY using it to counteract the venom. And I had to use it!! Seriously! Have considered taking allergy shots 'cause honeybees are so vital to life as we know it! And they are such fascinating creatures that can teach us about 'unity, order, design...just how awesome our God is even while the creation is still under the Curse.
Tonight's Bible Study with our pastor leading...AWESOME!! He lead us from Gen. to Rev. about life under the curse, and how the Lord will restore us via resurrection if we 'sleep' before Jesus returns. I feel great sorrow for those who 'go to ?churches? where they don't believe in All of God's WORD being inspired/God-breathed and Totally TRUTH!! They are like those in the day of Noah, who didn't believe the warning..and "mythed" the boat! Yes, one of my puns, y'all!
I didn't get a response to my strong last post...maybe y'all missed it, not "mythed it"! LOL, actually 8-( The Deceiver is working overtime, knowing his time is getting shorter. Sowing confusion and division within our nations: USA & Canada, Mexico...
Pray for me to be able to get things done on my wife's HoneyDew List!! That 'honey' will sweeten her, too! Oh, how I wish I could share some pictures of our growing GRANDIE. And I got a reply from Rick in Ontario, but my gmail wouldn't open. Gotta stomp on de-debil...as that old Negro Spiritual goes!! Blessings2U'all, now!

Maybe if my posts are shorter, I can become a Senior Member/SM But I forgot to respond to TacoBelle about her BLESSING, So personal about Dear Deer, though she called the little doe, ComeOn. Mary, you never mentioned the name of your "Bambi Friend". But how awesome to see God's little 'winks' of favor and surprises when He blesses us, knowing what is in our hearts, giving us that personal nudge to let us know HE loves to delight us...and prepare us for Eternity with Him, so 'Glory' won't be such a shock to us!! Did I mention that I also got an email from Promise Keepers! They have passed the leadership torch on to a younger brother; and a Major Event in some 'agreed-upon' NFL venue/stadium is being negotiated for 2020. I'd love to see a platform choir where men have those great T-shirts that say: "Real Men SING Real Loud" . But getting to sing/lead worship at several events in the past in the choir was like a 'foretaste' of what Heaven will be like, including women, of course. But...we can only imagine!! PTL!! BTW, What are "dots", Mary and "Reb4JESUS"? Or is this the 'new form' of M&M's?

Late morning from western suburbs of Chicago... Just a quick note, trying to check this post more frequently.
Maranatha, Dots are ...https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ellipsis And pray you can accomplish the most important items on the things to do list... My wife has learned to just give me a short list... makes it easier.
MexicoMaria,
Hard to believe that the Monarch which migrates isn’t the farthest flying butterfly. Glad to hear your doe made it.
I spent some time reading the forum features and like some of the features. But it is hard to get used to the fact that you have to go to the last post. Though I do have the same thing with a car forum for Prius that I used (occasionally check it out). . Did email Canadians with some suggestions, on how to block different posters. I don’t block posters usually, but will ignore some ...
Just heard it’s 50 where we are so we are heading for a walk..
Praying for the needs here...

I wonder if the earliest Christians had the luxury of blocking out that which they did not want to hear, or they actually listened and grew as a result. Imagine if they had isolated themselves in their little cliques as is done today, especially by the politically inspired.
Not only would Christianity then have become (much earlier than it did) a hostile entity, but it never would have gone out into the world loving both neighbour and enemy alike. (love in the real sense, not the my way or the highway 'love' brand of today) If it weren't for these open minded pioneers, Christianity never would have gotten off the ground.

Tom: I'm a senior member and you don't have to kiss my ring...And I am praying for you, Jan and your family.
Mary: how great to have see ComeOn! Did you recognize her due to the broken jaw? I'll bet she'll come some day with a fawn to show you. Wouldn't that be great? We'll call you Grandma-doe. In our family there is a Cat-dad and a Cat-mum.

Re: HellRazor's article:
Did anyone read the news article, Over There, about the Atlanta, Georgia Shell station that has started an app for full service? A lot of thefts had occurred due to "sliders", people who slide into the passenger seat and grab goodies and sometimes the entire car, while the driver is pumping gas. This was my response:
Questions :
1. both of my cars have doors that stay locked when the driver's side is open, unless the driver deliberately unlocks them. Don't these Georgia cars have that capability?
2. I lock my driver's side when I get out to pump gas, even though I live in a safe area. Can't other people do that?

Good evening to the royal family! Blessings and grace to you all. I would love to have a whole bunch of honey bees. Someone does a few miles down the road from me....two great big white boxes in his yard. (I never see anyone tending to them...maybe you have to do that at a certain time of day when the buzzers aren't so active?) One of my earliest memories as a child is playing out on the grass outside (it was probably in Germany) and I saw a big fat bumblebee on a flower so I scooped it up and thought it was funny buzzing in my hands....until OW OW OW the little buzzer bit me!! :-)
I need to share my notes from the sermon Sunday...it was titled, "Don't forget who you are".....very very thought provoking and encouraging!!
I do think America is at a crossroads and Christians could be losing many of our freedoms and liberties in the name of "political correctness" and "hate speech" Our friends in Canada know all too well what happens when a nation starts going down that ugly path.

I have a "Thank you so much God" prayer: As some of you may remember, I had 5 surgeries in 2016, that have left one of my shoulders feeling either uncomfortable, very sore, throbbing, or feeling like it's being stabbed by an ice pick. At 1:30am I woke up to pain I couldn't get rid off, no matter what position I tried, and I was close to tears. The anti -inflammatory that I took at 10pm , which usually fixes the causes of the pain, was AWOL . So I looked in my stash of prescription drugs and found a muscle relaxant which I took. Slept until 9am, which is 2 hours later than I normally sleep. "So thank you so much God, for suggesting the anti-inflammatory , for showing me where the bottle was, and for allowing me to sleep so well."
guitar man: I agree that we Christians could be losing some of our freedoms and liberties. I have prayed about that topic and have prayed for the needs of everyone here.
