Jayrad, Thanks for that information.
I bet since it was Friday they all left early thinking we can kill Oregon on Monday.

Oh, I almost forgot, if someone is wanting to relive the good old days at GB, you can try the Waybackmachine. It archives old web pages. You just type in the url and pick a date off the calendar.

Collect your news points this weekend, and early Monday morning. You may want to get your news points very early Monday as GB is based in Dallas and that’s CDT.

Well, that is early.
One of the neat features of the regional sites was that you could stretch out the day. Posting early in Newfoundland and late (if you forgot) in Hawaii.
One of the members on my buddy list has been posting continuously for over 19 years. He has more consecutive days than the top two leaders in the TC area.

I tried that once when I forgot to post prices on a Saturday afternoon. I went to post prices in Hawaii from L.A. and it wouldn't give me points for doing so.

Jayrad, There was a knack to it. I used to have a small favorite station list on the Hawaii site so it was easy doing it that way. I have posted prices from the map on the NewFoundland site but if I remember correctly (it’s been a few years - back when the forum was still going) you could post a price and then it would redirect you to your local site so you would have to go back to NewFoundland to post the next price.

As of 8:00 p.m. CDT these old state and city sites are still up. I doubt they'll be up long as all the other state sites have been converted. Coloradogasprices.comColoradospringsgasprices.comDenvergasprices.comOregongasprices.com Quebecgasprices.comRhodeislandgasprices.com
As of 1:00 a.m. CDT (8-8-24) of the 6 pages above, Oregon is the only old site left. Oregon site is now gone this morning
