Now that I've bought four new Michelin tires for the Chrysler Farm & Fleet is having a sale. $100 off and buy three and get one free. Go figger, again.

Baron, We’ll, at least you didn’t roast to death in the car.
WRINC, I don’t know how much rain we got in my area. All I know is that we still have power. Just a few branches down here and there. My brother was without power last night and it looks from the outage map that they may have to wait a bit before getting it back. Lots of people without power in the Como area and all over. I was driving down a street this morning and one of the electric lines sparked real bad. A couple of blocks later the whole intersection was without power. The hardware store had its doors open but the power was out there. Don’t know if they were doing cash sales on essentials like batteries and stuff.
Hi Doc, Hope you’re doing well.

Good morning everyone,
As is usual, not sure what today will bring. It should be nice enough to do some of the outdoor chores, such as trimming the lawn.
The sunrise is definitely getting later each day.

Good morning.
DG, I reckon I'm doing okay. Went to my oncology pulmonologist yesterday and he did lots of tests and came back with lots of smiles and a "see you in six months or so."
Yep, maybe...if I don't die of terminal itching. This right arm is driving me crazy, so I'm seeing the dermalady today.
Oh, well, hope it's a good one for all. God bless us every one.

Good morning everyone,
I was able to mow the entire lawn before we went shopping. We came out of the grocery store into a rainstorm. It was over by the time we got home. A total of .25" fell.
My best friend up here, who'd introduced us to this lake, is recovering from quadruple bypass surgery. Looks like we'll be helping them with chores through the Winter.
We got the septic system inspected and cleaned, then the AZ fellow called over to see if he could come over. Then he called back and invited us over for happy hour.

'Morning.
Went to dermalady yesterday. Verdict is that the salve she prescribed for my arm is the culprit in the redness, swelling and itching, so now it's wrapped up from wrist to elbow and I have to take that mess off and wash and dry and wrap for several days. Not fun! Hopefully, though, the meds she gave this time will stop the itching. That is driving me nuts.
Hope it's a good day for all. Gotta get Kimbu's Caddy to the shop....AC problems...lots of those lately.

Doc, Hope this cures the itch. Glad you got a clean bill of health for the next 6 months. That’s something to be real happy about.
WRINC, Sorry to hear about your friend. It’s nice that you’re able to help out with chores while he’s out of action. I mowed Wednesday and now it needs it again. Can’t mow until Monday ‘cuz I just sprayed the creeping charlie in my yard and my neighbors yard this morning before it got windy. I’ll have to wait 3 weeks to spray again to get what the first spray didn’t. I swear, sometimes I hate the birds and the winds that causes the seed to scatter. Grrrr!
edindetroit, It seems that the cars today don’t hold the ac as long as the cars did years ago.

Good morning everyone,
Chores are done (for now). The AZ couple is coming over for dinner tonight (yay).
Not sure why I couldn't sleep any longer, but I'm up.

Well, I'm up, too, but not very happy about it. Just didn't want to get up. Then again, didn't want to lie there hurting and wishing, either.
Oh, well...yesterday things were lots better, so maybe it'll get better today.
For one thing, it is STILL raining, has been raining all night and all day yesterday, and is scheduled to keep at it and get stronger as the day goes on.
Thankee, Lord!

Good morning everyone,
The forecast is drying up for the weekend, which is good because my wife's sister is coming for the weekend. She lives in Beaverton, OR.

Still raining here. Been off and on for three days now. I like it, the trees and grass like it, the birds like it....hope the blankety-blank squirrels DON'T like it.

Good morning everyone,
Highs for today and tomorrow in the upper 60's, with some rain today. No boating.
I do have a few indoor chores, but the next two days will be devoted to lawns here and at my friends. I'll also have to add the chores I was going to have the neighbor kid do, since my friends needs are more pressing, and he can't lift anything over 10 pounds for the next 3 months.

Thankee...

Hi all,
It’s been extremely busy at work and someone retired on Friday so we’re shorthanded at the worst possible time. We were already 2 people short and now this makes 3. I hope they hire someone soon. At least one of the people who has been out of the country is coming back next week so that will help a little.
