Good morning everyone,
They picked the boat up for storage on Friday, and today we'll have the patio removed and a new one poured. The old one was brick on sand, and it was sinking in several spots due to gophers and other critters tunneling under it. Zena's already been out this morning, so she'll mostly be able to hold it.
The new dehumidifier is on it's first 24-hour break-in period. As they mentioned, it does warm up the laundry room a bit, but it seems to be holding so far.

Good morning everyone,
The new patio looks good, although the front yard now needs major sod replacement.
Zena was very good. She was introduced to the concrete crew, and didn't spend the day harassing them.
Now the hard part: putting everything back in place. Actually, putting the garden shed back together is the only hard part.

Hope it turns out to be easy-greasy, WRINC. I have a really sweet-looking little greenhouse that would work well for you up there. Down here, it just cooks plants, no matter what.
Gotta go visit with my diabetes PA, "The Beautiful Tina," today. After that it's a rerun on the chest scan....this time "with contrast." That means I get a shot to go along with the horrible discomfort of the position they put me into. I just know they could do SOMEthing to help old stove-up people not have to endure that "hands above your head" routine. For me, it's like torture.
Ah, well....hope it's a good'un for all.

Good morning everyone,
Glad I got everything picked up outside. It rained early this morning. Thank goodness there was no thunder. Well, the shed is still dry - I put all of it's parts in my Explorer.
PT on my left shoulder this morning, then we go to Wadena to meet some friends for lunch. We do that with them about once a month.

Good day, all.
Not a good night, but I made it, so....
At least I don't have anything I really have to do today, so maybe I'll get back into the swing of things.
Hope yours is a better day.

Got some more stuff for the exterior house remodel. Getting closer to completion. No more than three Saturdays.
Wife had been watching 7 grandchildren for what seems like a month, but it's just been a month, er, since Monday. She stayed at their house. She came home last night. First good night sleep I've had all week.

Good morning everyone,
The screen project for the patio has been put on hold. The carpenter blames it on his Father's heart attack (he's a long time buddy) and the loss of his dog. My wife blames it on the onset of hunting season and his desire to train their new dog. We can't get another carpenter yet because he says he'll finish the steps. We'll see.
Temps dropping for this the last full day of Summer.

Good morning.
Off for another doc visit today. Well, this time it's a PA, as the doc herself is on vacation or something.
Hope it's all good for all of you.

Good morning everyone,
With the front yard trashed, it's hard to get enthusiastic about mowing.
One neighbor came over for happy hour yesterday, going to another's today.

Good morning everyone,
Had a landscaper here yesterday to inspect the damage. He'll start work in late October.
Went out for a boat ride with the AZ neighbors. His dock and lift are out, but he can park the pontoon boat next door for now.

Still wet today despite barely raining. It is super humid from the hurricane remnate moving through here. From what I'm seeing on the news and online we got off easy.

Good morning everyone,
The new weather station is working well, except for the rain gauge. It hasn't rained yet, so it's still unknown.
Got a big shopping list, so I'll probably go to Wal-Mart, then maybe get a hair cut. Wal-Mart is difficult to go to while it's undergoing a major remodel.
