HI Need_Batteries, Lighting and VanKY. I "think" Alaric is still having a problem, but he has signed up. Said something about his computer,but I don't know what the issue is. Anyhow, now we can continue on, at least for a while longer.
Baseball season starts tomorrow. There is a section on this site for each team. Don't holdout much hope for the Rays this year -- but I might get a good surprise.

Hi Gas Cat: Hopefully Alaric will figure things out. This website certainly will take some time to get used to. But I've already figured how to link this forum.
I'm waiting for the Canucks to end their season (5 more games to go). I'm hoping that luck will be on our side for the draft pick.
Might as well find some sort of entertainment in a different way if your team is on the rebuild cycle.

Wish they would change the sort order so the newest posts would be seen first. First baseball games in this season have been played or are being played right now.

It's not the snow that is a problem, we have been getting rain, upon rain, upon rain around here. Someone said they saw a guy building a HUGE structure that looks sort of boat-like. I think the guy's name might be Noah or something like that. LOL!   Have a Blessed Good Friday!

OK, this forum is a little ger-broke. I tried to get "VanKY" but the robot ignored that and
signed me up as "vanky". I can be more than a little fussy, especially when it comes to
getting folks' names right...
Anyway, I have a request in at the Help forums for some Admin to expunge "vanky" from their
system so their robot will allow me to register "VanKY" like I wanted to in the first place.
Meanwhile, I put my wife on here as user "Irate". Heh! Kind of fits... this place is giving
me fits, anyway...
Hi Gas Cat, Needs Batteries, Lightning. Great to see everyone in a new forum. I sure did
miss things on Gas Buddy but I just got real discouraged when they started changing the
rules and favoring folks with smart phones. You can see where it has all taken us- a whole
generation of button pushers, faces buried in their smart phones, who are not literate
(or energetic) enough to put together a couple of sentences in the English language. Sad...
Wow, I'm good! Sound exactly like an old fart. Heck, I am an old fart. Wonder when that
affliction crept up on me? Ah well, life is good. Every day an adventure. And most of all,
Gratitude! Yeah I'm grateful, and I never forget that...

P.S. I don't own a *single* smart phone, not a one. I had one breifly, but when I figured
out that the OS was Google-infested, I sent it right back. Google is a *notorious*
privacy invader. Meanwhile, I own somewhere near 20 desktop towers, and every single one
of them runs Linux OS's. No More Winders for me, you young whippersnappers... Heh!
I bet Alaric had troubles with Pro Boards, too, Gas Cat. (grin)

You can change your handle and add the capital letters by going to your profile and doing an edit profile on a regular computer. |
