I had a fun time at my neighbor's Thanksgiving dinner. Just relaxing and talking and of course eating.

I wish the wind would lay! I am so tired of cleaning up leaves that don't even belong to me. Today made my 11th day of cleaning up leaves.......... I'm talking about knee deep leaves in front of my garage and up my back door, plus all the ones that's in my yard and window wells.

I wish the wind would lay! I am so tired of cleaning up leaves that don't even belong to me. Today made my 11th day of cleaning up leaves.......... I'm talking about knee deep leaves in front of my garage and up my back door, plus all the ones that's in my yard and window wells. All I get is some pine needles with a couple of leaves for a neighbor's tree. At least you are not cleaning up snow. |

I hear that the monarchs are declining. Did you have a normal amount on your milkweed this summer? Is everyone ready for Christmas? My tree is up and my gifts are wrapped. Gas Cat how is your recovery progressing? |

I actually did not have a monarch butterfly garden this summer, but I am thinking about having one next year. The geckos keep eating the caterpillars and I got discouraged. I was counting the caterpillars and a gecko snaped one up in front of me. I know it is nature, but. . .
Foot surgery -- I am scheduled to have the tiny screw removed next week as it has moved and is causing me pain. The bones are healed so he said it is OK to remove it. Hope he is right.

We had a low of 10° below zero on Thursday night and on Friday the high was zero. The wind chill was 40° below for 2 days. It finally warmed up to 10° for Christmas Day. Seeing what occurred in Buffalo, New York, we had it easy. We only received 2 in of snow. For New Year's weekend we are going to be looking at rain and 60°. If you don't like the weather in Indiana just wait a while because it always changes. Gas Cat My son had to have surgery on his hand and the screws did the same thing. Soon as they removed the screws his pain was gone and it has never came back. I wish everybody a happy and healthy New Year! |

The sutures come out Tuesday and I hope that gets rid of the current discomfort. I know I felt relief when they took the sutures out the last time. Time will tell. |
