Made my morning bottle of Sodastream Diet Dr Pete and came to the conclusion I am nearly out of carbon dioxide. Fortunately, I have two filled cylinders I bought a couple of days ago. When I swap cylinders, I will have two empty cylinders. Probably the ideal quantity to take back, one cylinder per hand.

The carbon dioxide cylinders used in a Sodastream machine are BIG. They're not the little eight gram cartridges that are used in similar applications, they're about fifty times larger. Compact Disc in foreground for scale: Picture linked from non-GBO Web site. No GBO Photo Attachment Storage was harmed.

I was reading the latest earnings conference call slides from Sodastream International. They said that the average user goes through three carbon dioxide cylinders a year. I went through four in two and a half months. I guess I'm an above-average user.
Bought two more exchange cylinders yesterday at Walmart. I got a Customer Service person who had never exchanged a Sodastream cylinder before. She had to get her supervisor to talk her through it. She apologized for the delay but I told her, "You got to learn how to do something new at work today!"

Put in one of my exchange cylinders this morning. I have an empty cylinder to take back for an exchange. Going to wait until the one in the machine needs to be exchanged (I've got four cylinders in all).

Don't have one, but may consider one.

Had to swap cylinders this afternoon. Carbonated some water for thirty seconds (it normally takes six) and it was totally flat. Trying to get the last little bit out of the cylinder.
I've got two empty cylinders, one full cylinder, and one in the machine that's only been used to carbonate one bottle of water. I think I'll go to Walmart as that seems to be as easy as anything.

Exchanged two Sodastream cylinders this morning at Walmart. I got the same Customer Service person I had in May. She remembered how to process the transaction, and she gave one of her team members a little bit of on the job training! She said, "It's you again!" and I replied with, "I'm back!"
I recently bought nine bottles of Diet Dr Pete syrup (nine liters of finished CSD per bottle). My house caretaker asked me if I'd use it up before it went bad. I told him there was no worry about that, the expiration date is June 2019. So far today, I've made two bottles of finished Diet Dr Pete.

My house caretakers' kids (two boys) and my house caretaker live with me. My house caretaker gets frustrated at the boys leaving empty pop cans all over the house. He said if they don't stop it, he may take a Sodastream bottle and write their name on it. Then, he'll only let them have Sodastream pop. That way, he'll know who is leaving bottles all over the house.
I go through a cylinder of gas about every two weeks. Wonder how fast we'll go through them if we have three pop addicts using the machine?

perfer regular name brand soda... Some people also prefer name brand sneakers instead of cat heads. Keeps my adidas and Nike shares cranking out dividends.

My house caretaker's boy was warned of what his Dad would do if he left Dr Pepper cans all over the house. My house caretaker asked me to buy some sugared Dr Pete syrup (Sodastream's version of a "pepper" flavor). Sounds like the kid is going to get Sodastream pop when his Dr Pepper runs out (he got three fridge packs Tuesday afternoon). I also bought a couple of extra carbonation bottles this morning. They're thicker than regular pop bottles because they're designed to be reused. Less packaging waste is good. Less energy expended transporting water when I can get perfectly good filtered water from the fridge is good.

My house caretaker wondered about two months ago whether I'd ever go through the nine bottles of Sodastream Diet Dr Pete syrup that I'd just bought. I only have one unopened bottle left.
Also, my eleven shares of Sodastream International (SODA) stock have gone up from $98 to $130 since I bought them in late April. I bought RCI Hospitality (RICK) the same day, and it's also gone up from $28 to $33. And RICK pays a small dividend every three months...

Also, my eleven shares of Sodastream International (SODA) stock have gone up from $98 to $130 since I bought them in late April. PepsiCo decided the sparkling water market was too good. They made an offer to buy Sodastream International for $144 a share in cash. SODA stock shot up to $142 a share. I was looking to sell some stock, and I decided to lock in my profits on Sodastream.

Listening to PRI's "Marketplace" tonight. They did a story about Pepsi acquiring Sodastream. CNBC did a story about the same thing earlier in the day. Both of them brought up the massive flop of Keurig Kold. I'd say Keurig Hot is a rousing success. The grocery store I go to has a good bit of space dedicated to K-Cups. And a few containers of bulk coffee on the bottom shelf, where products go to die.

Nope. Younger daughter and Husband bought one when the FAD arrived, no more than 30 days later they moved it to the Garage for the next Church Yard Sale.
