Was the prize limited to human babies, or could some other creature claim a prize?

VW births haven't been limited to humans. One owner said his Great Dane bore a litter in the back seat. The canine got a case of dog food instead of a bond.

Okay, NOW things are back to normal. (Pretty darn embarrassing when ya can't find your own thread!)
A "swamp cooler" was the nickname given to an device that served as a primitive automobile air conditioner back in the days before A/C became common. It consisted of a dampened pad over which air was forced at highway speed, then funneled into the car, usually through the passenger-side front window. The principle of evaporative cooling, as it is known, dates back to ancient Egypt.

Correct, jusrme! Next question from you! (Luxury Liner referred to the top-line Dodge series, sold from 1939 to 1941.)
