Sneakers--Glad you adapted to the changes. Some family members don't like change. They are the ones who never worked with the public and live in SP where everything is like Mayberry. You are right about the doctor's appointment.
Slept considerably better last night. Nurse got me up about three in the morning as I had wet the bed. Stayed dry after that. Breakfast was good all but the eggs, that I did not eat. Someone from Dietary came through this morning and asked what I didn’t eat so they can give me something else that I would eat. Had blood drawn from the back of my left hand this morning. Had a staffer had me get my legs over the edge of the bed and then I got to kick out twenty times on each leg. Then scooted up in bed so there is clear room between my feet and the foot of the bed. Got my second one of the two daily antibiotics infusing. Just got lunch. Fish, French fries, two hush puppies, cucumber and tomato salad, orange cake, and iced tea. Mostly cleaned it up.

Hello, Sneakers. Oh, that's not bad. I thought cellular data was much more. I had a bad experience, when I left cellular data in the on position, and I don't know if someone hacked into it or if I did something wrong, but the bill was in the hundreds. I called Verizon, and they cancelled the charges, but ever since I've been leery of using it, and turn it off immediately when finished. Still don't know if it was my error or Verizon's. I have a walker that was used by my mother many years ago. It folds up and sits in the garage until I wash the towels and polishing microfiber cloths after I wax the car. Then it becomes a drying rack. Hope it continues in that function for a long time! Hope your neighbors enjoy their gas powered Generac. That's probably a good investment, and a good stock to own with the frequency of damaging storms on the rise.
Cellular data can be expensive but mine is pretty inexpensive. Got an Excessive Heat Warning until 8:00 PM tonight. Generac stock is going up faster than the S&P 500 Index is. My taxable brokerage account is up $0.05 today. Just as close to flat as you’re going to get. Wonder if I should watch baseball or football tonight. Both come on about 6:00 PM. I got my bed refreshed about 3:00 AM this morning. Been dry ever since. Today’s IV is ready to disconnect.

Just had the wound care nurse visit. The left foot wound has oozed a little. She cleaned it with sterile saline and rebandaged it with a silver alginate material. Pretty much routine care. The wound care nurse was wearing a Houston Astros top. I asked her if she was going to watch the Astros or the Texans game tonight. She said, “Probably the Texans.” Only get to watch them once a week but typically you get to see the Astros six days a week.
IV is still hooked up and water glass is empty.

My cellular data plan is $20 a month for all I want to use. Have accounts on the iPad and the ThinkPad. Do you have to set the iPad as a wifi hotspot for that to work on the ThinkPad?

soutxed, if I remember right, Nolan Ryan didn't take any guff. I just watched a clip of it of their brawl. Not a regular brawl. You're right about possibly being to be written up. That other teacher who didn't tell you about the new attendance procedure, should have gotten written up. lorando (NW PA), Vladimir Guerrero Jr. got another two hits tonight. Streak at 21. Team record is about 27 or 28. Will the Yankees have a problem with another doubleheader? Baltimore won tonight. I kind of wonder how long our reunion will go. At some point the people who keep it going will get too old or there won't be enough of them. I'd say were safe for the near future. TGIF! Take care everyone.

The ThinkPad has a Sierra Wireless cellular broadband data card in it with a Verizon SIM card. Not dependent on Wi-Fi at all. Getting messages from Carbonite Safe that my ThinkPad has not been backed up in a while. It hasn’t been on in a while. Will have about ten megabytes of E-statements to download when I do get home.

Sneakers--Maybe you will get a breakfast you enjoy. All that talk about cellular data was me wondering if I should consider it, but so far spectrum been good for me. One of the local hospitals is a cell phone dead zone. I don' know if it's the construction of the building or they have it blocked. I know from the ER you have to stand by the outside door. Some days one has to go outside. Couldn't watch either Astris as I don't have Space City or the Texan game as the local CBS station whuch was carrying it had transmission issues. Went to a restaurant that has TVs on sporting events who carried Little League baseball and another NFL game. No Olympics as the NBC station, owned by the same company that owns CBS station was down.
Lorando--The Yankees played in the rain. Seems odd. I guess if there is no lightning or thunder they will play. I know what you mean about writing minutes. Has to be done right away. Usually if there was no vote on a topic of discussion, I don't include it in the minutes or only mention it was discussed. Sometimes it was moved to another meeting. Ms. Blabber mouth often didn't get included in the minutes unless she made a motion. She would go from her teaching moments to how she did things running the local playhouse and often her college days. The two years I was church council chair, I would cut her off when she got off topic.
Uncle--I did suggest the other teacher at least be called in. But I learned not to rely on him for information. Had other issues and by the last couple of years we barely talked. You are right, Nolan Ryan didn't take any guff. That is a video I pull up every now and then. Also, Altuve's 2019 home run that sent to Astros to the World Series.
Wife talked to family about how we can help sister who is getting cancer treatments. But then got a call from financial advisor that we have used up one fund so our deposit will be less than normal. But have a meeting this week to see what we can do. We don't have that much in stock market do not affect by the downturn this week.
Neighbor is still waiting for the Generac getting fully installed. Workers have been working in the ally.
All of a sudden what I type take a few second to show on screen. Time to leave.

Went to a restaurant that has TVs on sporting events who carried Little League baseball and another NFL game. No Olympics as the NBC station, owned by the same company that owns CBS station was down. Got a completely edible breakfast this morning. Dietary gave me bacon instead of eggs. Cellular data is usually more expensive or less reliable than cable. it’s probably the construction of the building that makes it a cell phone dead zone, it is illegal to block cellular phones. Able to watch the Astros game and the Texans game, picked the Texans game and fell asleep in the third quarter because I had been given my bedtime pills. Slept most of the night, dreaming I was back in high school but this time I decided to be a jock instead of merely a geek. Got phone call from Bank of America yesterday saying somebody had applied for a credit card in my name and Social Security number but from Pennsylvania. They canceled the application. I was surprised that B of A would want to give me a credit card given that the last one they gave me they had to write off for nonpayment and they sued me for the balance.

Had occupational therapy wiggles just a bit ago.
Had left foot rebandaged while watching the Astros play the Red Sox. Astros ahead 3-1 in the sixth inning.
Tomorrow’s game starts at noon. Soon after my online church service wraps up. Hopefully will be able to get it over cellular broadband wireless service. Have no problem getting SiriusXM over cellular broadband data service. Haven’t tried YouTube yet.
just got water glass refilled and urinal emptied.
Listened to ripped CDs on the iPad. America and one other greatest hits album. I have all 2042 albums I had in my pre-Harvey collection on the ThinkPad and iPad. Only about 600 CDs survived the flooding. Went through and re-ripped the CDs with a lossless codec that I thought would benefit from the treatment. Had some of my vintage CDs where the metal coating had turned transparent. Usual culprits were made by Discovery Systems, a now defunct company the best that I can find out.
Discovered that I bought two identical Mariah Carey CDs. Rainbow. Guess I must really like Mariah.
Got all my CDs ripped and discovered I would rather listen to SiriusXM. It will play without intervention for as long as you would like and they have a good selection of music in every genre.
Had dream about going back to high school and being a jock this time. Got asked if I could keep up in a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor hightops. No nice newfangled Nikes in the Dark Ages. I did get a pair of red low top Chucks when I was a senior in high school and got questioned extensively about whether I had joined the basketball team. Couldn’t do that because I never mastered moving and dribbling at the same time. White or black would have gone unnoticed but not the red ones, the jocks were very possessive of that color. I think I was the only one not on the basketball team to have a pair.
Astros ahead 5-4 at the start of the ninth inning. They won the game with that score.
No TV index channel here unlike Houston Methodist or Ignite.
Last night’s supper had an egg salad sandwich and beans. Ate everything else on the tray, potato soup and red Jello with diced fruit.
Ad for Gallery Furniture. Bought several thousand dollars of furniture there after Harvey. Sofa, recliner, dining room table and chairs, some of the beds, furniture for my bedroom and Isaiah’s.
Almost supper time. Hopefully will be good. No getting to pick out what you like unlike Houston Methodist or Ignite. But they pick out things that are good most of the time. Ate everything but the breaded and fried okra chunks.
Astros won 5-4. Switched to ABC World News Tonight.
Now watching the ABC 13 local news broadcast.

Sneakers--I admire your CD collection. Mine is much smaller but haven't purchased a CD for several years as I download most music now. The construction of the hospital was to be hurricane proof as much as possible, so I imagine the walls are thick.
Got a new bedside table and it took about an hour to assemble it. Saved the cost of someone else doing it. Instructions were very clean plus a video.
Wife talked to family about how to deal with sister who is facing cancer again. Because of the cost involved she wants to give up. Caretaker sister who knows how to work the system is trying to get her some help from the government. Also, another sister who has been selling stuff (much donated by friends and family) raising money from her online sales. Last Friday I got a call from financial advisor one of our IRA's has run out of money so a payment this week will be very low. Meet with them Tuesday to see where we can get money, it's there but trying to avoid unnecessary taxes. Don't want to give the government more than necessary since they waste half of it.
Went to a lounge last night where we get a discount. Ran into a former co-worker. Had a nice visit. She lived in a small town near the metroplex but came home to be with mom. Always good to see her.
Church today and then we will try a new sports bar and grill. I have been told there is a picture on the wall with all of the pressbox crew including me. See how bad that is.

Hello, soutxed. Including a video in the assembly instructions was genius. I wish more items came with that! Just sitting here watching the Yankee-Ranger game. Andrew Heaney is pitching for the Rangers. He had a tough time when he played for the Yankees, so I'm happy to see him doing better. He always had potential, but sometimes it just doesn't work out. We had a special guest star at church today. One of our younger couples had a baby a few months ago, and he made his church debut today. He had 20 admiring instant grandparents.
Howdy, Sneakers. That's some collection of CDs you have. Do you have a lot of different types of music, or do you concentrate on one genre? I know you listen to Classic Vinyl and Yacht Rock on SiriusXM Curch went well again today. Did you get to see Cousin Martha's streamed service. I've been wondering how long services run in different denominations. Our's seem to get longer every week and a few folks are grumbling. They're now running around 1:15 or 1:30. Maybe it's the summer heat and no a/c that makes the time more of a factor
Hi, Uncle. The Yanks are quite a puzzle this year. They barely have a .500 record at home, but do very well on the road. They're one of the worst teams against lefties, but one of the best against righties. It's a strange game. The Mets are hoping they can give their Worst Team Ever (1962) Award to the White Sox at the end of this year. They lost 120 games that year. I was in high school back then, and they were kind of lovable because they were so bad.

Multiple genres. Got to see Cousin Martha’s streamed service. Ran a long hour today. Had a young man respond to the altar call. Saw part of Joel Osteen and all of Kerry Shook today.
