Pretty good; nothing much negative.
I spent the rest of Sunday night and early Monday morning watching One America News Network (OANN). It turns out that the episode of "The Daily Ledger" was one that I'd missed because I more listened to than watched something else on TV. Then, they had the national and international news on OANN.
I got my first 825 points (message posting, news stories, and the "Battle of the Snacks" challenge) before I went to bed just before 1:00 AM.
I got up about 8:20 AM. Then, I went in the business room and started working on things. I went in the kitchen and made myself a liter of Sodastream Diet Cola. I used part of it to wash down my three morning pills.
Isaiah went off to school in his new Jordan sneakers. They are mostly black, with some red and some gray. I was a bit surprised that they were not hightops. His other pairs are hightops.
Chelsea brought in some segments from a Fuji apple and five grapes for breakfast. The grapes, which were imported from Peru, were more flavorful and juicy than some of them are.
I had a number of mail items to do stuff to. One of them was to sign, date, and mail in a form (they wanted a hardcopy signature; no submitting the form on-line). Another of them went with a check (the charity in question, a listener-supported radio station, also takes major credit cards; but if I mail them a check it's cheaper for them to process). A third one didn't have on-line bill pay, so I sent them a credit card number. Two more could be paid on-line with a credit card, so I went that route.
I bought six shares of AMGEN in my taxable brokerage account. AMGEN is a biopharmaceutical company. I'm overweight in health care, but underweight in information technology. But, overall, I'm pretty much even weight when it comes to high technology in general.
I ordered a pair of nearly black ("anthracite") sport sandals (the type with straps around the toe and the ankle; NOT a pair of flip-flops or slides, both of them which I do not find easy to move in at all) from Under Armour. It seems the pair of Teva sport sandals I escaped wearing during Harvey now has one of them missing. I'm wearing my pair of Under Armour sport sandals in the white, gray, and black colorway right now, along with the same T-shirt and shorts I wore Sunday. Only the footwear is different today.
Chelsea noted that I needed something to rack up magazines, and she ordered some multicolored filing boxes.
I wanted someplace to rack up stuff to be processed, so I bought two three-tier black metal mesh racks. I've put both of them together. Chelsea commented that she'd never seen me use a screwdriver or put anything together.
I had a depleted black printer toner cartridge that I returned to the manufacturer (Brother Industries) for recycling. It came in a box about a foot long, and it filled up about two-thirds of the mailbox. They had a USPS prepaid address label in the toner cartridge box, so all I had to do is put the old toner cartridge in the new toner cartridge's box, close the box with tape, slap the return label on the side of the box, and put it in my mailbox.
Tuesday and Friday are trash days, but we put out some trash early. Namely what was in a big black plastic trash bag in the business room. The three tubs full of books and CDs have been shelved. There's actually some empty space now in the business room.
Chelsea gave me a lesson on the new (post-Harvey) vacuum cleaner. I hadn't used it before and I didn't know where the switches were. Chelsea told AJ that I was very good at vacuum cleaning the carpet in my bedroom. It hadn't been vacuumed that I know of since it was installed the middle of January.
Chelsea's wanting to take my 55" TV in the business room and hang it up in the dining room. I said, "If you're going to put it anywhere, put it in the living room." It's a better set overall than the one in the living room, but it has a smaller screen than the one in the living room (which is 65" and three years old).
The daily mail order haul had packages from FedEx, the letter carrier, and UPS. You have to order a lot of things to fill what was an nearly empty house as of the first week of September. Everything that was salvaged, except the living room TV, went in the business room and filled it half-full.
Lunch today was a bottle of OJ, a pint of lowfat chocolate milk, and a Stouffer's Meat Lovers' Lasagna Satisfying Servings frozen entrée.
I finished off the Sodastream Diet Cola, and I made a liter of Sodastream Diet Root Beer.
The house to the north of mine in the cul-de-sac had a floor company pickup truck with an attached trailer outside during the day. They're still renovating. I can look out the business room window and I can see construction debris piled up outside at the curb.
I watched CNBC until 3:00 PM (Central Time). I've watched "Jeopardy!" and "Inside Edition" on ABC 13. Then, they went into doing the news from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The weather guessers are expecting rain Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Not of Harvey's proportions, however.
I'd been making a fizzy mess all over the kitchen counter when I used the Sodastream. I read the FAQ on the Sodastream USA Website, and found out what I wasn't doing right. The Sodastream system makes one-liter bottles of carbonated water, to which you add flavoring. After I read the FAQ and followed their recommendations, I got considerably fizzier pop with no mess on the kitchen counter.
Chelsea brought me in a box of CD-R discs so she could make audio CDs. I have four spindles of DVD-Rs, because I use the optical drive for ripping audio CDs and data backup. You can store considerably more data on a blank DVD than a blank CD.
Right now, I'm listening to and sometimes watching "American Idol."
Chelsea's cooking tilapia for supper. She is also making asparagus topped with Parmesan cheese, and mashed potatoes. She put grated Cheddar on my mashed potatoes. Chelsea made me a plate and I ate it in the business room.
Chelsea's Mom, stepdad, and half-sister are visiting over here right now. They have an Escape that looks a lot like mine. Both of them are Steel Blue. But the one that Chelsea's family has is of a higher trim level than mine and has the V-6 engine that can run E-85 fuel. The most my four-banger can run, according to the owner's manual, is E-10. The Escape one model year newer than mine can run E-15. But, in the area that I report, there is only one station that sells E-15. It's usually $0.03/gallon cheaper than E-10.
I asked Chelsea's Mom, "Are we going to have four for supper, or seven?" Turns out that our visitors had previously eaten supper at a local Mexican restaurant.
Chelsea just carried in a small basket of salvaged stuff. Six books and five blank DVD-R discs in cases.

Pretty good, except for the partial demise of That Other Site we used to know and love.
Spent the rest of the evening in the business room until about 12:40 AM. Spent the evening watching ABC 13 except I watched KIAH-TV (CW 39 in Houston, a Tribune Media station) for the news in the 9:00 PM hour.
Went off to bed. Something made Rocky bark about then, and Rocky woke up the other three.
Got up after sleeping, changed my T-shirt, and put on socks and shoes. In by the computer at 8:21.
Went in the kitchen, and got some ice. Took my three morning pills and washed them down with Sodastream Diet Root Beer.
AJ said that he put something in the business room for me to go through. I had to look around a bit to notice he put Monday’s mail in one of the trays I assembled yesterday. I went through the mail, finishing up going through it except for a magazine and a Boeing annual meeting of stockholders voting card. I’ll deal with those later.
AJ came in and discussed his busy agenda today, and I told him I was going to the bank and grocery shopping. We also discussed my 55” monitor and I commented the bottom third of it is hidden by the ThinkPad and the printer. He has been sanding and staining interior wood doors, and he is planning to put them up.
isaiah was late to school again. AJ took him and then AJ headed off to pick up Cokey.
About then, my home Internet quit running. Just about the time I headed out the door.
Got gas prices at Valero, Andy’s Food, and PEMEX.
Then, I went to the bank. Put the title for the F-150 in my safe deposit box. I had the new branch manager, who I had never met before. She had to go through all the procedures and red tape. The new accounts person does the safe deposit boxes when she’s not otherwise busy, and she knows me well. I also checked my checking account balance; they credited my account with the checks I put in the ATM Sunday morning.
I went out to eat lunch at Kelley’s Country Cookin’ in League City. I got some gas prices along the way. The only thing along the right side of the road (I pull in the stations on the right side of the road) was a Chevron that was $0.10/gallon more that the three next closest stations.
I am going grocery shopping. The only question is where. I like HEB better, and I shop there more often, but I want a couple of things only Walmart stocks. Prices of both are mostly the same. Could go both places. Retired people have a lot of time!
The only app challenge left to go is Evening Avenger. Given me, I’ll still be out after 3:00 PM.
Found out the hard way that some of the GBO features don’t work on an iPad. Of course, THAT OTHER SITE didn’t have them in the first place!

A good one so far.
A bit of a downer when a buddy messaged me that the anticipated forums had shut down. I forgot to download one of the local topics I had meant to grab. But that's not going to spoil the day!
